My name is Sakichi Niijima. This message is addressed to those of us still in Recollé.
Valentine's Day is approaching. Many of you had plans with members of the expeditionary teams that are no longer feasible, but all is not lost. I and Chiyo Matsuoka intend to deliver any parcels addressed to those expeditionary members, provided they are entrusted to us by February 14th. The Post Office is continuing its hold on all out-of-town mail, so do not send any of your gifts through traditional mailing methods.
Please reply if you have a letter or parcel you would like delivered, and we will arrange for a pick-up.

I wouldn't be against Valentine's Day becoming a national holiday. People should have the opportunity to spend time with the ones they love. [ can you believe Chiyo really thought about that and is sincere about it because i'm embarrassed by it ]
Sakichi... [ Since they're on the topic of love... ] Have you ever felt that way about someone? Dated? Had a crush? Anything like that?

[ Chiyo sighs. She should have expected it, but she was hoping (HOPING) that he had some hidden reserves of romance behind his stoic exterior. ]
I wanted to know more about you. [ And she loves to hear and see people talk about love. ] And because you would do your best to make anyone you love happy, and you deserve to have someone who wants to make you happy, too. You don't have to be looking for a relationship, but if you fall into one, would you tell me right away?
[ Sakichi is a more sincere and honest person than she is, and that's both a boon and detriment. ]

[ It's not normally something she asks of people, but even since Dave waited over a month and a half to tell her, she has to take it into her own hands. ]
Me? Um... No. [ She shakes her head. ] There are a lot of people that I think are amazing, but I haven't gotten that feeling yet, not for a while.
