So does anyone else have children in the memories they've been getting?

To answer my own question the woman I am in my memories has a son and then her son has three children as well.

[ So this tbh pretty young looking 41 year old is a grandmother in her memories but that's beside the point. ]

I don't remember my children, but I do remember that past me got a woman besides his wife pregnant.

Because past me was a douche.

You're far from the only one I've spoken to like that.

Honestly, I think I admire the past me in some ways.

What ways are those?

I don't know how I'd survive something she went through, physically, mentally, or emotionally. I have the memory of it now, but it's still like an out of body experience to consider.

I haven't remembered him doing anything admirable at all. I'd probably feel differently if I had.

I'm not necessarily saying you should, more just that's a shame even if it's not... abnormal.

Actually here's a theory, maybe the man assumed the mistress was infertile or his wife was?

That doesn't really excuse the cheating in the first place.

It's true I don't have any memories of my kids, but I don't directly remember my wife either. I've gotten the impression family wasn't that important to him.

Of course that doesn't excuse it, unless it were some sort of arrangement.

I've gotten one.

Past me and two friends of his. Odasaku and Ango. Members of the 'decadent school', whatever that means.

That's too bad. I can absolutely imagine you getting one of their baby pictures and embarrassing them over two lifetimes.

They aren't here, so that wouldn't happen.

Retroactive embarrassment if you do meet one of them?

It won't be "them."

If I ever run into "them," they will be some other person, who lived some other life apart from me. Their soul will be one that I've some connection with and I would very much love to meet them, but to push that on them?

That's unfair.

It's an easy thing to joke about really.

It is, but it's a sensitive subject for a lot of people, and it's really impossible to know who. I should be more careful.
