So does anyone else have children in the memories they've been getting?

To answer my own question the woman I am in my memories has a son and then her son has three children as well.

[ So this tbh pretty young looking 41 year old is a grandmother in her memories but that's beside the point. ]

Well, of course. I mean that I remember memories from his childhood. IDEK if others remember bits of theirs.

My earliest memory is in her twenties.

Earliest age I remember is eight then there is a couple of him being an idiotic teen.

Did you get anything of her getting married at all?

Yes.

The proposal, not the ceremony.

It must have been something special for her.

It was, something she could still gush about to her grandchildren decades after the fact.

Must be nice to have those kind of memories. I thought most of the others were from odd or painful pasts to tell the truth.

It's not devoid of that, to be sure. And there's an inherent oddity to the fact the family's a bunch of vampires.

But it's not all painful.

Still, it sounds like you've gotten a lot of happy moments as memories.

I guess not even most of them, but it sure feels that way because it is my family you know?

Family does make it a lot better even if they aren't the best memories. I mean, you have someone to share those memories with. At least, on one level?

Not so much in this life but yes, for the ones there, definitely?

It made for a weird juggling act for a while.

I can imagine. I sort of have that as well. I mean, the father in my other's memories is my father here, even if they are different people.

I hope they are anyways.

I don't have any parallel relations to the ones in these extra memories.

I feel like the other way of it would be more eerie

Believe me it makes things a lot awkward. I'm kind of glad that they live in S.K. so I don't really see them, even if the lack of communication is driving me nuts.

God, I imagine. I've lucked out there in that no one I talk to that regularly lives outside of the city. I grew up here and my parents have passed on by now.

Father can be a little scary so I was glad at first, but considering that we should have been releasing a new game and I haven't heard anything? That's a little bad for business.

Luckily, we're still doing good but still, I feel really odd about the whole thing.

I hope that you have other concerns than just business by now!

But still, I didn't even think of that, people with more international or national businesses. I've seen things come into the city now and again, but we have to be lower on some supplies too.

Of course, it's just that's why I was sent here in the first place: business expansion. I don't want to disappoint him again.

You would think but I don't even know any more. It's weird at how functioning this city is without outside influences.

This town we're stationed in out here is clearly on its last legs, supply wise. I worked it out with Carlisle to get some shipping in but-

It made me think, Recolle ought to have had some issues from last month at very least, right?

Does this mean that we are going to have to look into where our supplies come from? Because it doesn't feel like we are losing in any supplies, but I'm not the person to ask about things like that. Considering the whole money thing.

If we were having issues I would think we would have heard something about it.

Likewise. But I think it's worth looking into. Honestly I've got plenty of money too and I've heard nothing about it, but you've got a company, right? Any raw material shipments not come in?

Or is it all digital?

We're digital and the like. We have a standing supply order at a local place for printing discs and such for physical copies of the game, but no, we haven't had supply problems.

Of course now that I say that, I bet it will start to happen.

Sorry about jinxing you if that's the case.

But no seriously given the whole dome thing I wonder how things got in or out. Or if they even did. Or for that matter where Carlisle got what he did for the town.

Well I guess the Dome's gone now, but I mean in terms of Retrospec's supply chain.
