Kara Ellis shared a photo. 2/23 near Recolle U.

So Retrospec sent me a cape. Weird, huh? Had a little fun with Photoshop since it makes me feel like some sort of hero, and it's definitely an upgrade from the towels I wore as a kid. Has anyone else gotten something like this? It feels way, way more significant than just a bit of cloth, but hell if I know why.

Actually, I was kind of like... a superhero in training, let's say. They had school for it and everything.

You think? I wasn't really good at it, but thanks. Or at least I don't think I was all that good. Maybe I got better?

We'll definitely see, but I've got a feeling the answer is yes.

I mean, I did remember skipping some school sports thing to save some people. Which, I guess, means I have super hearing to look forward to... which is kinda scary, given how much Mr. Carter hated it when he got it.

I can imagine that super hearing would be hard to cope with.

What powers do you remember having?

I could fly, I could lift really heavy things... made a couple mistakes with that one. I'm not really sure what else. What do you remember so far?

Well. I remember talking to a guy with a cape, who was kind of preachy? I also remember talking to a man who was supposed to be my uncle, and holding a baby named Kal. And working in a lab with that other me's father.

Huh... So you were some kind of scientist?

Yes.
With weird fashion sense.

You mean, wearing a cape.

No, wearing a toga.
The cape I don't recall.

A toga? Whoa. That's pretty... different? Was everyone just dressed like that?

It is.
And yeah, they were. Uh. Kal was wearing a baby toga. And my uncle, Jor? He was too.

So was my aunt, but I didn't get her name.

Do you remember Kal and Jor?

Yeah... Does that mean we were related? I've never seen anyone else from my memories before!

What about Zor-El? Does that name ring a bell?

It's kind of fuzzy. Sorry. This is so weird.

Well. Jor-El was other me's uncle. Zor-El was his brother. Her father.

That makes Kal...I guess Kal-El her cousin?

That means either Jor-El has another relative and you're their kid. Or we're related in that other life.

Is that okay? Being family all of a sudden in some other life. I mean, I know you said I was sister-like and all, but I'm just making sure this isn't weird.

I was going to ask if you wanted to just be my sister when you got back.
So no, it's not weird.
And it is fine.

You mean it? Just being able to say that? Wow... Of course! If it's okay. You've been around longer than pretty much anybody.
