I like this place. Recollé, I mean. I grew up here, I spent my whole life here. I like how busy it is, I like how the weather changes on a dime, I like the people. Recollé is my home. What I didn’t realize, this whole time, was that it’s more of a prison than a home. A cage. I grew to love it, because I was complacent. Willfully jailed. I didn’t bother looking outside––so I didn’t realize that there was nothing there. This world is too small. I can’t help but feel jealous of everyone that got to get out of here for a little bit. I’m still...stuck. I didn’t realize how much I took the idea of “seeing the world” for granted. Even so, I’m glad that I grew up here. It wasn’t a bad life to live. All in all, I think that I still prefer it to his. Even if it’s not the world that I wanted to live in, it’s a world where magic is real. I just wish...we could all be on the same page. What’s your favorite memory in Recollé? It doesn’t even have to do with the app, just...a nice memory in the city. I’m interested to know. ps. i’m on a top of a building right now, if you wanna hang out i can fly you up here. It’s a nice view.

It's probably my first real college party. I had been to plenty of parties before, but they were usually in ball rooms with snobby aristocrats.
It was pretty much the first time I felt people were hanging out with me because they liked me, and not because of my last name.

yeah. everyone makes fun of you for being a rich princess or whatever, but it must have made it pretty hard growing up. everyone judges you right away..

it must have been nice to be "normal" for a change

Bit hard to choose one in particular but, funnily enough, I think one of mine is arriving here. This isn't the first place I've lived in since I moved away from my parents but it's the first where it felt right to settle down for a while.

Not quite sure what that says about me considering everything that's been going on, but there it is.

Also, I'm still a bit new here so I just want to check that you being on the top of a building isn't some kind of cry for help.

That might not really be the best one, but it's the first one that comes to mind right now.

I've got to say, I agree with the sentiment in general terms. That is to say, I wish rather selfishly that most of my "seeing the world" back in the days hadn't involved quite so much of other people wanting me dead.

My favorite memory - and I must warn you beforehand that this is about to get rather sappy - is taking my very first walk in the warm spring air with my newborn daughter.
