I have a nearly full bottle of red hair dye that I suddenly am no longer in need of. If anyone on Retrospec wants it to deal with their own hair changes, I'd be happy to give it away for free. If not I'll sell it on Craigslist, but I wanted to ask you guys first.

Also, how creepy is it that my natural hair color changed to the exact shade of red that I was already dyeing it to?

How long have you been dyeing it? Maybe that's a factor.

This color in particular, about two years now. I tried out some other colors for about a year before settling on this one.

It comes out a little brighter on me, but your results may vary etc etc.

I've seen his reflection and it's super red, but I wasn't looking very long so I don't know if his roots were showing or anything.

I wouldn't have minded white hair, I could still dye that to my usual or close to it. This is just unfair to everyone else who does get weird anime hair colors.
