more like a kind of dimensional transport facilitated by a video game
it doesnt make a lot of sense even in context though

I remember what my parents looked like and the names of my aunt and uncle and their baby. And I don't remember her, but my sister! I mean, our memories match up, so we had to have been related there.

if you vacuumed up a bunch of souls from a spider planet for instance
then itd make sense for them all to remember spider planet
what feels really unlikely is how some of us knew each other
like earth alone has billions of people on it
what are the odds that any two chosen at random would know each other?
