There might be no need to kill a bunch of test subjects. It's entirely possible that there's a textbook or other reference somewhere that contains the information we're after.

I think it's probably possible to figure out the physics of a concept like this without actually having to cook anyone alive... At least, I hope it is.

It's the difference between a phase 0 and phase 1 clinical trial. Human bodies are too complex to generalize.

Can't they just use a chicken breast or something and test when it's been completely denatured?

Hmm. A chicken breast is pretty large, right? We can cube one pound of chicken and hope the sample size is large enough.

I think they're usually about half a pound each.
I wonder if sesame oil and some salt and pepper would compromise our results...

The chicken should be marinated before cooking, or it'll be tasteless and go to waste... Human bodies have varying amounts of salt and oil/fat, right? We could probably justify those. I don't know about the pepper, though.
