OK, I don't normally show the stuff I get from Retrospec on the app unless it is REALLY weird (ex. the owl and the accent). But THIS! THIS IS SO COOL! IT'S A MAGIC FLYING BROOMSTICK! And it's apparently a Nimbus 2001 (no idea if that is a model number or year make) and man it is fast! Can we all just admire the the sleekness of this broom, the foot holds, and I'm pretty sure there is some kind of magical cushion so it doesn't hurt to sit on it!

I walked myself right into that didn't I? Fine, I'll help. As long as the clothes don't look absolutely ridiculous, and by that I mean I don't want to feel like I'm a walking Picasso painting.

Well, I don't think my pieces look like Picasso did them. He did have a very nice period though, before his cubism stuff.

Yay, thank you Derek!! What's your work schedule like? Though now that I think about it, i don't even know what you do for work...

I'm a CSI at the Recolle Crime Labs. I'm get off of work at 5pm most days unless I have a heavy case load.

Yeah, it is. Work is pretty satisfying.

So you help solve crimes with science and stuff, right?

Yes, that's the general idea. I deal mainly with blood work and various poisons.

Poisons-!! Does that happen a lot? People getting... poisoned?

More often than you think. There are some pretty nasty poisons out there kid.

Oh no. That's kind of sad though, that many people poisoning each other.

It's crime. I know that sounds insensitive, but sometimes that's what you go to do when your in my line of work.

No, I get it. You have to be tough to be in any sort of crime work - very impressive! I would definitely never last, haha.

Anything associate with my kind of work does take a certain amount of backbone and ability to have emotional detachment from your work.

Yeah, I can definitely see that. It takes a strong sort of person to do what you do. I'm definitely not that tough!

Which is fine. Not everyone needs to have thick skin. We need people who can instead fix innocently destroyed teddy bears.
