Has anyone seen this woman/is this woman in their memories?



[ the picture in question is a rather beautifully made sketch of the woman in front of an old victorian mirror and brushing her hair as the drawing; some might recognize the art style. ]


I just remembered this a little while ago and it isn’t mine, there’s no familiarity to it like the other ones and it’s a completely different person.

I don’t know how much of a problem this could be from Retrospec’s part, so has anyone else gotten memories from more than one person, or memories that aren’t from the same ones you’ve been getting?

[ a sign that eren has to think about the answer is another tip off that he isn’t sure. maybe a month or two ago, after gettings under control, he would’ve been completely in favor. how could he dictate his own want when they were all on the verge of extinction–?

but they don’t seem so extinct anymore. he’s not sure he wants to feed the possibility of an entire life being lied to.

for now, he holds off as well. for the best. he has a lot to think about already. ]

Pretty sure it was to kill her. I remember being a lot more than angry, I had just lost an entire squad.
I was probably just really confused when I found you.

That's a huge loss. It must have been devastating.

Please don't worry about what happened with me. I don't hold any of it against you. I'm not that unreasonable.

We are not omniscient. You cannot see the future. If you learned from it, that's all anyone can ask for.

Of my sense of self. My morals. I don't have the full picture, but she is not kind.

[ Even now, she can't reconcile that she's supposed to be Four. ]

When I started getting my memories, I almost drowned in them. A lot more than just one time. It’s a lot less today, but it’s still hard not to get caught up in any of it somehow.

You’ve got a strong sense of self. If I need to keep reminding you like Elliot did with me, I will.

How long has she spent idolizing her sisters? How long has she spent imitating them in one way or another? How long has she spent trying to be her own self? It's too long and not long enough. ]

You're lucky to have someone like Elliot at your side.
