My eBay account got suspended.
I have not used eBay in awhile so I guess I don't know the proper protocol for someone outbidding you for a cursed doll. Cursed with either a violent curse or a child's soul. The seller didn't specify.
It is not proper etiquette to e-mail the person you were bidding against and ask them to sell it to you rather than use it for their BuzzFeed article. Or let them be aware that you were honestly hoping it had some soul trapped in it to give it to friends in the hope that it will come to life in the middle of the night to do whatever cursed dolls do.
Who knew. I thought we were both cursed doll enthusiasts.

Some of them were created by Satan in rebellion against God.
However, such power pales in comparison so they were struck down.

so does satan have the same powers as god? if he can create life as well
ruri bullshits about catholicism
Yes and no.
Satan can create monstrosities and demons.
He can only create evil and give it form.
He cannot create life but a monstrosity that is filled with nothing save the desire for destruction. It is not considered the same as life, but a bastardization of life.
Because everything is born with the capacity of good and evil.
God would never create someone purely meant for evil.
It is our choice to become so.
Meanwhile, Satan cannot.
The creatures have no choice and have no decisions.
They are only meant for one thing and cannot be saved or gifted salvation.
There is no soul within them and so they are nothing but hollow replicas.
no subject
evil beasts that are basically robots. with no soul.
kei, can god create someone with no soul? not evil, but just simply without a soul. or do you need a soul to be a good person
no subject
There is nothing within them that does not wish to cause anything but harm.
Their only wish is destruction.
It is why they are always struck down.
Such evil cannot exist.
And no, God could never create someone without a soul.
The soul exists in order to accumulate all things, in order to hold all things of this world; good, bad, sin, evil, penance, repentance, and through that will come salvation.
You do need a soul to be a good person, for it is only with the presence of a soul can one say they are saved. We do not care for our mortal flesh and bones. What we care for is our eternal life.
People may joke and say that if the only thing keeping you from doing evil is religion then it is pointless, but it is not. If there are those that cannot stop themselves and need some light to seek, is it truly pointless?
No, a soul is required to be a good person.
Without its presence and existence, goodness becomes meaningless.
It may still have worth to the living, but to the eternal, it is meaningless.

alright. going to play devil's advocate here. if a soul contains all the things of this world, good and evil, then what does a person without a soul contain? how would they exist without one
no subject
Most of the words written are those interpreted by mortals.
However, if they were capable of choice, that would mean Satan could create a soul.
And, the choice to do evil or good comes from the inner conflict we all feel in our souls, after all.
The creatures born soulless can do evil and see no wrong, because to them, there was never any good possible for them. The same for angels. Angels, too, can only know good and no evil. So they, too, are soulless.
This is why humanity is the most interesting, because they are possible of both.
A soulless human will either do only good or only evil.
There will never be any conflict for them.
Which no human is capable of -- and so, there can never be a soulless human.

so you think a soul allows one the choice to be one way or another, then? without a soul the choice is out of your hands?
can a person really decide to be evil or good, kei? maybe it's already chosen for them from the beginning
no subject
That's correct.
And, no, a person decides if they can be evil or good.
We are given free will.
It is always our choice.
There is no decision at the start.
no subject
and that's what retrospec seems to be going against, isn't it? that we can't escape the choices and decisions of our past lives. we will always be the same no matter what life we live
isn't that the opposite of free will
no subject
And he did not ever stop.
No moment of hesitation.
There was no decision; there was only acceptance.
No.
We're allowed to choose how we view our past lives.
We're allowed to decide what we will do.
There is no action in the past that we can ever undo.
There is no choice in the past that we can ever not make.
Consider it, then, just seeing it as the same.
Our perspectives are different from our past selves for many reasons.
Our will is our own.
There is nothing that can corrupt it but ourselves.
no subject
you say that but its one thing if it were memories. but abilities, our appearance, everything is changing. forcing us into a prison we can't escape from as much as we want to
we're the ones corrupting ourselves, kei, it's true. but not in the way you think
[1/2]
If a human does evil, they are eternally damned.
There is no salvation left for them.
A monster only ruins their mortal life.
A human ruins their life everlasting.
In some ways, the monster is far better off because they do not have an eternity of torment.
no subject
It is still us and not us.
We are more than our bones and viscera.
We are more than our abilities and looks.
We are more because of the soul we have been gifted.
Indeed, we are corrupting ourselves.
But we are also purifying ourselves by never forgetting we still have choice before us.
no subject
maybe you're right. a monster is simple but does not have to deal with such things
i guess so. but i remember the retrospec people mentioning that their work has something to do with souls. we can wave away the physical changes, but what if the souls of our past lives come to take the body that they think is rightfully theirs? can a soul force out a soul?
no subject
... and I certainly hope not.
