My eBay account got suspended.
I have not used eBay in awhile so I guess I don't know the proper protocol for someone outbidding you for a cursed doll. Cursed with either a violent curse or a child's soul. The seller didn't specify.
It is not proper etiquette to e-mail the person you were bidding against and ask them to sell it to you rather than use it for their BuzzFeed article. Or let them be aware that you were honestly hoping it had some soul trapped in it to give it to friends in the hope that it will come to life in the middle of the night to do whatever cursed dolls do.
Who knew. I thought we were both cursed doll enthusiasts.

[ He speaks in such a neutral manner that he may have been talking about the weather. Kei follows after Felicia, not yet pressing record until they actually get to the garage itself. Actually, just as he is about to press the button, he pauses to look down at her, asking: ]
For the sake that this may become found footage, could I record us looking for the doll? [ Lightly wiggling the phone at her, he cocks his head to the side. ] It doesn't matter to me. I'm sorry to have to bring you out here at such a late hour while we look. It's kind of you to allow me to do so, even if I am doing a favor to you. This sort of thing seems better to do in the daylight for a lot of reasons.
Perhaps, the doll has slipped away out of the box and around in some dark corner? [ He chuckles at the idea. ]

[Felicia shuddered at the thought of the eerie Santa doll lying in wait for them in the darkness-- and she abruptly shook her head.]
If you're not needed anywhere, I'd rather get this taken care of now that I'm thinking about it again. Dad's probably forgotten about that thing... I know I did, until your story.
[She looked up at him with the innocent trust of a puppy, and canted her head at the phone.]
Go ahead and record. We should have a record if anything happens.

[ He doesn't sound sorry, nor does he feel it, but looking her over; Kei thinks that she'll take the sorry as sincere. Because she believes in the best of people. ]
I wonder why he kept it. Perhaps, the Santa took control of his senses every time he would attempt to throw it away. [ Kei makes idle comments, as he chooses the camera option on his phone and flicks to click record. ] Oh. I should have recorded that, oh well.
[ Lifting the camera up, he shows off the tower of boxes ahead of them. ] Right. Hello. I am Kei Shigaraki, and this is Felicia. [ Flicking the camera, he points it at the young woman with him. ] Welcome to a poor decision by two people that have just met. [ He makes a wide gesture and moves the camera around, to show off that it's quite dark and late in the evening. ]
Our plan is to search for a cursed Santa doll that she has. It does, indeed, look to be quite haunted from the picture she had of it from I can only assume some horrifying Christmas past. But, I wonder if is the holiday spirit with us today? [ This is said in his usual neutral manner but the camera moves in a way that someone gets the inflincation that he shrugged. ] Let's start looking, shall we?
[ And walking into the area officially. ] Of course, I say all of that, but it's mostly just pulling boxes down and looking inside of them. [ He tosses his phone at her as he reaches up to grab onto one of the boxes to pull it down. ]

I do have a flashlight, [She said once she caught hold of the phone and angled it appropriately. Handing it over, she continued.]
Here. There's some old lamps somewhere in here. And an old hat stand.
[Briefly, she flipped the camera around to look squarely at it.]
My dad likes to keep weird things, and is gone more often than he's home. Kei and I may be two strangers, but I don't think Dad will notice a curse being lifted from all this stuff!
[She flipped the phone back around to record Kei as he rifled through the boxes. With his height and his strength, they should be able to find Santa in no time!]

[ He pauses in his reach to take the flashlight from her. There is a soft, thoughtful hum as he points at some of the boxes to see if he can read something on them before he starts pulling something down. ]
In short, there is a very good chance the evil spirit may light one of those lamps and close the door so that we burn up with all the things in this storage. [ He nods as he walks along one makeshift aisle so that he can continue to turn his flashlight up at some of the boxes. ] The hat stand could be used as an impaling device.
[ His voice is further away than Felicia's as he walks, and tone relatively indifferent to the idea of either death scenario. ] Ah, here's a better place to start. [ Tucking the flashlight under his arm, he grabs one of the boxes with one hand. ] Unfortunate that your father is not home often, but I will profit on his absence, and perhaps talk to you some after--
[ Grabbing a box by one hand, while turning to talk to someone, is not smart. A few more boxes come with it and fall on him. ]
