My eBay account got suspended.

I have not used eBay in awhile so I guess I don't know the proper protocol for someone outbidding you for a cursed doll. Cursed with either a violent curse or a child's soul. The seller didn't specify.

It is not proper etiquette to e-mail the person you were bidding against and ask them to sell it to you rather than use it for their BuzzFeed article. Or let them be aware that you were honestly hoping it had some soul trapped in it to give it to friends in the hope that it will come to life in the middle of the night to do whatever cursed dolls do.

Who knew. I thought we were both cursed doll enthusiasts.

But there was no reason to get suspension involved in our disagreement.

I don't believe in curses, although perhaps after all the odd things that have been happening lately, it seems anything is possible.

It certainly can't hurt things to believe in them.
So, it is nice to have another believer.
Even if my belief is fairly lackadaisical.

I have a memory of dealing with a malevolent spirit.
So I know it is possible, at least.

I shall answer it as best as I can, but I don't claim to be an expert.

No.
My other self did know exorcisms, however.
I'm afraid I only know the chant but without the knowledge behind it... it comes would be nothing more than a violent affair rather than a cleansing.
Still, "he" may know more and I may regain it.

Why?

I have a memory of remembering that spirit channeling exists where I come from.

A spirit is called upon by a medium, and the medium is possessed by the spirit and takes on the spirit's form.

That's remarkable.

But I don't know much about that, unfortunately.
I only received a memory of a spirit that inhabited a body.
I can't say if anything was in the body before it.
[ And Kei can't say anything would be able to use it after. ]
The body was that of a withered old man.
So if the spirit could shape the body, I would think it would choose something better.

Still, spirit channeling and able to pull a spirit into one's body willingly.
That makes one wonder, doesn't it?

It's equally likely that despite the existence of spirit channeling, curses do not exist.

I learned at a young age to question everything and to seek proper proof. My parents are lawyers, after all.

I'm not completely against the existence of curses. I just want to be absolutely sure before I acknowledge it.
