My eBay account got suspended.

I have not used eBay in awhile so I guess I don't know the proper protocol for someone outbidding you for a cursed doll. Cursed with either a violent curse or a child's soul. The seller didn't specify.

It is not proper etiquette to e-mail the person you were bidding against and ask them to sell it to you rather than use it for their BuzzFeed article. Or let them be aware that you were honestly hoping it had some soul trapped in it to give it to friends in the hope that it will come to life in the middle of the night to do whatever cursed dolls do.

Who knew. I thought we were both cursed doll enthusiasts.

Not really.
I have no warm feelings toward the shop itself.
My father loved it very much.
His feelings outweigh my lukewarm ones.
And so I never thought to change the name.

An odd thing to say, I suppose.
I am half-denouncing the imagined ideas people have of others.
And saying that there's nothing wrong with it.
I suppose the reason is because the only reason people get close to others is due to the imagined versions that they see.
It's only as they get to know a person do they finally let those go.
Or feel a disillusionment that destroys the connection.

But I'll give into the hopeful ending this time around.

It is a rather well known concept that hope helps humanity to keep moving forward.

I was raised by a wealthy family that was quite charitable.
I look at it as a product of where I came from.
Though I confess that I get far more positive results when talking to others if I am both polite and friendly.
People tend to respond well to a charming nature.
