I know there are people on the app with healing magic. I'm looking for someone who might be willing to help me with something. I don't know if what I want is even possible, but I figured it's worth a shot!

a little over a month ago I turned into what apparently passes for a vampire where the other me was from. I just didn't know what I was at first.

And now you are feeding on someone regularly.

Right. Mune-chan. He's the only one I'm really drawn to feed from. Which is kind of handy, because it would be really awkward with anyone else. But I'm worried it's too much for one person.

And he doesn't have any abilities to heal himself right?

It's convenient for him to be living with you at least. Though that would be quite the feeding schedule to have on one person so I can understand your concerns.

Right again. And knowing what some of us have had to go through for them, I'm glad he doesn't have to worry about any of that. But it means I need to keep him safe.

We've got it pinpointed to about once every two weeks. But I know people aren't supposed to lose blood that often. I'm hoping maybe a healer can do something...

Are you able to have blood from anyone else? To balance things when he recovers?

God this sounds really stupid but I haven't really tried. No one else smells the right way, if that makes sense? and it's kind of intimate, sucking the blood from someone like that. i think I'd feel like i was cheating on him in a way.

I guess i could try donated blood, like from a blood bank? but I wouldn't even know how to go about getting that...

Do you know any medical people? They could maybe obtain you one to try. That way the blood isn't wasted if you can only have his for some reason.

That's not a bad idea, but I don't really know anyone in the field except the person who helped me when I lost my eye. And I haven't seen her in ages.

although... I wonder if a CSI could get ahold of something?

I imagine they might be able to if they have to compare blood samples or something of that nature.

No, it's ok. I don't mind. I'd just rather not announce it to the whole city, is all. I'm still working up to telling most of my friends. I'd rather Sakura didn't have to know about it at all, if that's even possible.

I was apparently something called a drone for him. One of my duties was to provide him with blood. Mine.

Prey. You were prey? I think that's what they called it in my other life.

I think it was probably not polite to call it that in my other life. But yes. That seems accurate enough.

It's not very nice, is it? But I remember someone saying that's what it was called. Prey could either be someone turned into that, or someone... created, I guess? Created specifically to be food.

They are not given a choice in whether they become prey or not?

I guess not. I don't really remember much about it.

I know the other me didn't start off as a vampire though, if that... makes any difference. I remember someone saying that turning him into a vampire would save his life.

To save his life?

Yes. I don't remember why or how he was dying, but I remember someone saying if he received the blood of a vampire he wouldn't die.

I just wish it didn't have to translate over to this life.

This app seems to take as much as it gives. If not more.

the only thing I can say is that without it I might never have met a lot of the people that mean the most to me, or we might never have realized how much we care about each other.

not that anything can excuse what's happened to some of us, but.
