But if it was someone I cared about, and I knew my behavior and habits were something that'd upset them in one way or another, then I'd at least put in the effort to improve myself in that regard.

dont get me wrong. i care bout lil bit. shes a star. but i know i aint gonna impress her folks. its just how things go. and she may like me just how i am but they aint. im not gonna put on a front just for them if that changes the person she cares about in me.

You've never actually met her family, have you? Her brother might be one thing, but Fai doesn't strike me as the person who's going to judge someone on first impressions.

I don't care one way or another if you show up, to be honest. But Sakura will. That's just how she is.
