So two things, and unrelated, I promise!
1) I'll be 22 on the 17th, but because my best friend isn't on this app, I'm still not sure what I want to do about it all. It feels weird to include her with everyone else or exclude her because she doesn't get why I have mandatory community service now, among other things.

2) Is anyone immortal or immune to swords or something? ♡ It's weird how that's a real question now, isn't it . . .

Re the first one, is she your only close friend without the app? If not, two separate celebrations might be possible, depending on what you're planning.

I think you should include her with everyone else, and just tell all the Retrospec users to be cool about it. Usually people who don't have the app fill in the weird blanks unconsciously and don't notice that there's anything unusual about what people are telling them, or they just forget the weird parts of it afterward. But I think she WILL be able to notice a thing like her best friend suddenly treating her differently or keeping her at arm's length.

I couldn't put her at arms lengths if I tried... I still work with her, I still go and talk to her when bad things happen to me, or when good things happen to me. I've seen that whole filling in the blanks thing in action, and she's been worried and scolding me about that legal trouble I've gotten in lately.

It's just... the one I'd want to be special with the most is her! But it's so weird.
