I know there's a lot of us on the network, so this might get a lot of different ideas, but that's okay! We could make a list! But um. I was wondering, about where others might go, what you might do for a date with someone? Though I guess that might depend on the person, what they like doing, probably?

I haven't done this before, so. I'm trying to come up with some ideas. Of where to go together or what to do. So if anyone else has any ideas, that could help us decide! I mean, most of you are older, so you probably have more experience with this sort of thing, at least.

[Yes. That's right. Xiaolang finally confessed to her and she realized she returned his feelings, so. These two middle-schoolers are together now. It only took however many months at this point.]

Her grades aren't going to suffer just because she's spending time with me. We've been studying together since last year, and this isn't going to change anything.

Besides, I'm not irresponsible enough to go out on days when we'd have homework due.

[Because his education is really important to him too?? And he doesn't like the implications that being with Sakura is going to compromise that for either of them. But ugh, this is way too close to her older brother's nagging for his comfort...]

I don't who you are in relation to her, but unless you're family of some sort, I don't exactly need your approval for going out with her.

Not that he isn't used to older brother figures getting all up in his space, if NPC!Touya is anything like canon!Touya....]

I'm not family, but I've known Sakura for a bit. She's a patron at my shop and also around the age of my youngest sister so I couldn't help but be a brotherly figure to her.

So maybe you don't know me and maybe you don't care that I'm not family, but that doesn't mean I'm not watching over her.

[He's pretty sure this side of him is the reason why when his little sisters dated they never told him. Because he'd chase all of their boyfriends away.]

But as long as you intend to keep her safe, not bring down her grades, or do anything unscrupulous to her, we should be good.

[To be fair, Sakura could do a whole lot worse in picking someone-- Xiaolang was the teen girl dream package of being cute, smart and kind, with the added bonus of being head over heels in love with her and super protective of her well-being. Sure, he was shy, a bit too serious, and nearly as naive as she was, but that could always be smoothed out during time.]

You can hold me to that promise, too. If I do any wrong to her, unknowingly, you're free to get at me as you see fit.
