Isaac McKinstry 05/02 near Pawn Promotion

First off, while not the main intention of this post, I've quit Club Sunshine. My shop is now earning enough money that I can live off of that instead of having two jobs. I guess I should really thank Retrospec for giving me some of my domain back and making my shop more haunted. I can't complain about making more money that way. But here's what I want to ask and why I'm here: What are your thoughts about dragons? I know we hear stories about the knight in shining armor coming to rescue the princess from the tallest tower guarded by a dragon and people generally think of them as evil. Some people think they're good, too. You always see posts on the internet defending them. But what would you do if you knew dragons were evil beings? No, not that. Soulless beings. I think that's the right term I'm looking for. I need to know. If you don't care to talk about dragons, then let's talk about pirates.

But anyway, my domain is basically an aura I give off. My kind, malakhim or otherwise known as seraphim, have domains that bless others.

Guess what my domain doesn't do?

I suppose my first guess would have to be 'bless'.

But my second would be 'prevents dragon-y things from happening'.

I'm not sure about the second, but yeah, I don't bless people. I bring misfortune.

To be honest, and I am not a glutton for punishment or anything... but it sounds pretty amazing. To have the ability to bring a less the least fortunate outcomes?

... I am very curious.

Though, an unlucky pirate sounds... humorous.

I'm not sure if that's something I find humorous at all.

I've always had naturally bad luck and now it's gotten even worse.

I apologize. I try not to forget that some of the more unrealistic things that can happen, can and will happen. So, for something like this, I do not mean to be unsympathetic toward your situation.

Is there no way to dampen this effect that surrounds you?

I get how unrealistic it sounds. I'm still trying to accept this is happening around me.

And as far as I know, there's no way to dampen the effects. Sadly, I don't think what I have been given back here is even close to the full effects of what Eizen's domain was.

Does this mean what you experienced within your domain, Eizen's domain, is what led to said corruption that could... turn a seraph into a dragon?

This may sound silly, but perhaps you need a lot of good luck charms?

I just know that the threat is very real for me. It was for Eizen.

Because our domain is different.

Maybe good luck charms would work. Or they'd cancel each other out.

Perhaps. I suppose though, that I would need to be extra careful if I were to deliver any. Black cats are bad luck too, are they not?

Not that I am a full cat. The bad luck would have to be... halved.

But tell me about your shop. I am sure I must have passed by it at least once.

Are you a cat person? I keep being surprised by what people are, but then I remember what I am.

It's still hard accepting all of it. It's so surreal.

But my shop. It's called Pawn Promotion. As its name suggests it's a pawn shop. I also collect coins. The shop is located in Tisse next to a shop called Leviathan's Claw.

You can ignore the shop called Leviathan's Claw though.

Yes, I am a cat person. There must be a more elegant way to state that, other than the kemonomimi that a friend of mine suggested. That word is a little too much, I think.

A pawn shop and coin collector! I certainly will have to stop by, if only to browse what you may have.

And yes, ignore the shop. You'll thank me only because its owner is annoying.
