Oh yes, I can! I've repainted most of the first floor of the house, so at least I've got the whole thing in black. But I've got more of the house to do and then the surrounding forest.

I've mostly become a vampire, but I can still eat things normally so far still.

No, I'm like you, I'm not compelled to eat anybody. I just remember doing it, and I remember that my king only found the most powerful tasty.

I think I like coffee and grilled cheese too much to go all the way back, if I don't have to.

Does that mean that the species exclusively eats humans or sapient creatures, or just whatever?

We eat whatever. And then pass along the traits of what we eat to the next generation. We're called chimera ants. I was born from cat and human and maybe some other treats.

That's quite the trait! So in the long term it won't end up changing your diet, or does that mean it'll become purely carnivorous?

Other chimera ants? No, not that I've seen.

And I didn't pick a fight. I just wanted to see how strong you were.

I want to be strong too. I know it's in there, I just haven't managed ot wake it all the way up yet. But it's starting.

I was able to sense my cats' auras for a minute, that helped.
