I received this from Retrospec this morning in the mail. I think there's been a mistake in addresses or something since I don't think I've ever owned this before. Is somebody looking for this necklace? It's lovely and all but there's something about this that makes me feel a little eerie.

What would they gain from making us believe we really owned these items? This is feeling like a very elaborate hazing game with this twist of events. [ she didn't even like necklaces. they got caught in her hair too easily. ]

I know. I'm becoming a regular prophetess of doom, like Cassandra. I should really try not to be quite this disturbing though. It helps nobody's mood, least of all my own.

To be clearer, I received a fork in the mail from them. Several days later, I had a vision where I remembered receiving the fork before, from someone I do not remember knowing, but who seemed very important at the time. It wasn't really that terrible.

[Bullshit. That blonde in the vision had pulled a gun on her. The vision was anything but pleasant. But she didn't want to ruin someone's day by getting too morose.]

I do not know. It is possible they are just showing us, or possible they're trying to make us believe. It could be either, and none of it is very clear. It certainly seems like a great deal of effort for something so trivial as a pretty bauble or a fondue fork.

Now that you mention it? What they're doing here costs a lot of resources and time to pull off.

Finding the item in the first place. Selecting the person to get it, presumably. Paying for delivery and so on. They've been doing this a while too if the posts I've seen in the past are anything to go by.

They're definitely putting a lot of investment into whatever this is supposed to be for them. And for us, presumably. I haven't had any vision related to this necklace yet. [ because it wasn't hers? it didn't really feel like it when she held it in her hands.

this meant something to her but, at the same time, there was a twinge of sorrow too. and something else when she tries to sort out the strange feeling she has beyond yearning. oh, this was already shaping up to be a headache. ]

It seems so delicate too. I'm rather worried I might end up breaking it if I don't return it to its rightful owner soon.

Only a month, really, so not as long as you might think, but still long enough. As you've noticed, a lot of resources seem to be involved, but we can't see any reason behind it.

They have to be doing this for a reason, but the reason itself is eluding us. So much effort, there will be something that they wish to see, and I imagine that is as much a concern as what we might see ourselves, is it not? [Possibly moreso.]

Still, it is a pretty necklace.

When these mysteries and questions started first popping up, I thought it was all so very exciting since it gave us a chance to look for clues and such. Now I'm starting to realise how strange and rather unsettling this is.

On the surface, it could have all been relatively harmless pranks, and some person wasting incredible amounts of time and energy on nothing. But, with time, it has become invasive, disturbing and it makes me question what it is that I know, about anything.

Have you considered returning it to them?
