POST ✦ ( MORE THAN THE GIFT. )

Ainsley Feray Menodora shared a photo.
March 10 near Apprassage

I received this from Retrospec this morning in the mail. I think there's been a mistake in addresses or something since I don't think I've ever owned this before. Is somebody looking for this necklace? It's lovely and all but there's something about this that makes me feel a little eerie.

Augustine Sauveterre That's a beautiful necklace. Although it's not as the same as the stone I recently found.
Augustine Sauveterre Then again...

They sent me a gift the other day that I did not remember, not until recently. There is a possibility that it belongs to you.

Or that they will make you believe it does.

Augustine Sauveterre Maybe, but I doubt about them being similar.
Augustine Sauveterre Besides, the stone I found has a strange symbol in the middle.
Augustine Sauveterre It almost the shape of a DNA.

Ritsu Kageyama It looks valuable? Maybe you shouldn't be offering it just like this, someone may lie about ownership.

Augustine Sauveterre Yes. I double checked the stone and it definetely looked like a DNA strand.
Augustine Sauveterre And I agree with you. It's somehow impossible this stone with a strange DNA symbol could exist.
Augustine Sauveterre And yet, it doesn't feel artificial.
esperimental: (... idgi)

Ritsu Kageyama That sounds practical enough. But out of curiosity, why the weird feelings? Other than its delivery out of nowhere.

[Once she mentioned about the woods, Augustine then wonders about searching through it. Yet he wonders if going there might be a good idea or not.]

Augustine Sauveterre Maybe... But I doubt searching through the woods would give us these same stones.
Augustine Sauveterre We might end up missing instead of searching there.
Augustine Sauveterre What about the library? It's pretty old-fashioned but they have some books about jewels and stone.

I know. I'm becoming a regular prophetess of doom, like Cassandra. I should really try not to be quite this disturbing though. It helps nobody's mood, least of all my own.

To be clearer, I received a fork in the mail from them. Several days later, I had a vision where I remembered receiving the fork before, from someone I do not remember knowing, but who seemed very important at the time. It wasn't really that terrible.

[Bullshit. That blonde in the vision had pulled a gun on her. The vision was anything but pleasant. But she didn't want to ruin someone's day by getting too morose.]

I do not know. It is possible they are just showing us, or possible they're trying to make us believe. It could be either, and none of it is very clear. It certainly seems like a great deal of effort for something so trivial as a pretty bauble or a fondue fork.

Augustine Sauveterre I hope your right.
Augustine Sauveterre And maybe...
Augustine Sauveterre Um... Never mind about the second line.

Only a month, really, so not as long as you might think, but still long enough. As you've noticed, a lot of resources seem to be involved, but we can't see any reason behind it.

They have to be doing this for a reason, but the reason itself is eluding us. So much effort, there will be something that they wish to see, and I imagine that is as much a concern as what we might see ourselves, is it not?
[Possibly moreso.]

Still, it is a pretty necklace.

On the surface, it could have all been relatively harmless pranks, and some person wasting incredible amounts of time and energy on nothing. But, with time, it has become invasive, disturbing and it makes me question what it is that I know, about anything.

Have you considered returning it to them?
