I received this from Retrospec this morning in the mail. I think there's been a mistake in addresses or something since I don't think I've ever owned this before. Is somebody looking for this necklace? It's lovely and all but there's something about this that makes me feel a little eerie.

It does, doesn't it? It's what caught my attention when I first opened the package.

It seems so delicate too. I'm rather worried I might end up breaking it if I don't return it to its rightful owner soon.

That's so sweet of you. I wouldn't know what to do in return for something like that. [ she doesn't even like necklaces, personally, but something about tugs at her heartstrings despite her doubts of really owning it. the offer to let her have a replica does floor her a bit, out of surprise and relief(?) for some reason. ]

You don't have to repay me. You know me well, I find fitting aesthetic to be worthy as a cause.

[ He's a little strange in that he pursues geometrics and other forms of beauty, but she should understand. In the same vein as how he sets flowers of specific types and paints his home in specific colours, there's a cohesion that he strives for. ]

Since I like you so much, I will. It'll be a while before I get to do some of the things that'll help me decide what to do with it. So, for now, it'll stay with me.
