maidofmistakes: Sad yet anticipating. (I have 20 seconds to get my life)

let it all flow out like a river running

So, uh... anybody have any idea how wormholes in space work? I mean, I'm trying to look it up, but all these theories are kind of contradicting each other. One page said you could only go back, and I'm pretty sure I remember going forward. Wait, am I getting ahead of myself?

Scrap that. New question. Sorry. Uh, does physics work the same in all your other versions' worlds or is that different too?

why are you asking
matchbreaker: (the one below was the worse option)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2018-05-18 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
What?

I don't get this at all, sorry?

Though I suppose mine does, I don't think a bat tornado would work normally.

Oh, okay.

Those do pretty much everything in various movies.
matchbreaker: (wait that's the wrong lyrics)

[ . . . Oh.

she's open enough to say that in public. But. Whoa. ]

That had to have been confusing. Wow.

Well one could say supernatural beings defy a lot of scientific "rules" by our very nature, I suppose.

I'm really not a physicist, or a scientist of any kind, so I can't really say for certain. I do know that my other self's world had time travel, but I have no idea how it functioned.

If you mean we returned to a modern age whenever our missions were over, then yes.

I don't think so? I mean, other than magic, I think physics were I'm from works the same.

I think.

i think so? i haven't gotten much insight into my other...self's world's science other than it doesn't appear to match up with her lifestyle, but physics seems to check out.

no. she's part of an archaic tribal society but hunts and fights robots. incredibly advanced a.i., realistic animal behaviors. far, far beyond robotics in development currently.

it's pretty cool. and terrifying. the tribe (s?) appear to use the robots for weapons resources. they make arrows and armor out of bullet shells and scrap metal. nuts.
more to the point: you remember going *through* a wormhole?
