An acquaintance of mine made me aware of that detail rather quickly. I... can't remember the last time I was aware of Retrospec.

As embarrassing as it is to admit this, I'm not certain. He never mentioned how long I was off the network.

I should rectify this soon, it's not like I enjoy being in the dark. No matter what the truth may be, the only thing I can do is accept it.

I guess I assumed it's possible since we get memories so often.

And there's all this talk about our souls being the same as our past lives.

As much as it pains me to admit it, that theory seems likely. Why else would we get the powers and items used by our past selves, along with memories?
