So hypothetically, if you're an atheist (no judgement on people who aren't! ♥) and then learn your magic is the result of divine intervention, does that change things for you?

I happen to be in Enprise, so they can count as a debate!

Oooooor~! I might wander around and anyone can try to steal some coins [ inserted image of twenty weird coins ] from me if they can find me! I was a priness in another life and I'm the only staff member of the Stone Pegasus Casino left in town, so I count as double rich, maybe? Either way, it might be fun to see how daring people can get!

[Then she'll just never know Nui's little secret, and they can be totally fine, and Nui will look like a strong hero!

Maybe she planned it that way all along, just knowing Natalia wasn't going to be carrying that much herself.

But that would require her to be unpleasantly cunning, wouldn't it?

She sets the box down against the corner of a table to rest for a moment, wiping her brow as she "recuperates."] Yeah? You think that kind of stuff just pops up totally unprovoked?

Admittedly, I do have divinely created powers from another world.

[ . . . She says that with a wink, a cheeky wink, leaning against their table here. She supplied her own little knickknacks to sell here too, of course! And passes to get reduced fare chips at the Stone Pegasus, for whatever that counted when there's no one here.

That said, she ... kinda figures this whole thing is fruitless but whatever it's a task. ]

See! I keep telling people, they have to let the whole "this didn't really happen, but if it DID happen, then I would have totally done all these things!" idea go at this point! If the only people you trick with that spiel are total morons, is it even really worth it?

[She picks up one of the passes and scrutinizes it. Jeez... Natalia really has to be the only rich person Nui's ever met who wants to be stolen from.]

To be fair, I was seeking out anyone who would be willing to help me tick off the debate challenge! Though I was a little shocked at the people who were all "oh why did you do it?" and I had to spell it out.

[ ... Yep, sure is a pass to get 100 dollars in chips redeemed for a 50 dollar card. She shrugs a little. ]

It's hard to get a really good debate going unless you start out with something that makes others want to fight you... with their words, of course!

[She puts the paper back down on the stack. House always wins, baby, so Nui would rather be the house.]

Oh, yeah - did anybody rob you, or did you end up having someone coming to your rescue just because mugging is morally dubious?

I had a handful of bold thieves some off to try and take something! Embarrassingly, one of them actually succeeded!

[ Though. That was a young man who. Was way too reckless and she couldn't use her powers against them. That said, she sighs a little, ]

But see, you understand what I'm saying! Put out the bait there, and they'll debate!

If that isn't the truth...it's like no one has any room for a sweet devil's advocate anymore!

[When Natalia admits to being successfully robbed, Nui gives her cardboard box a surprised kick.]

No way! Did they hold you at gunpoint or something? Or maybe they conned their way into your heart with an elaborately concocted scheme email and you fell for their tricks? I didn't think you'd be taken advantage of so easily!

[She starts setting up her edge of the market table, not-so-nonchalantly organizing things so that her display takes up front and center space.]

Worse! I could fend off that email thing immediately, but in this case, some kid jumped up onto a danger zone too quickly for me to activate my blades safely! He pretty much tackled me!
