So hypothetically, if you're an atheist (no judgement on people who aren't! ♥) and then learn your magic is the result of divine intervention, does that change things for you?

I happen to be in Enprise, so they can count as a debate!

Oooooor~! I might wander around and anyone can try to steal some coins [ inserted image of twenty weird coins ] from me if they can find me! I was a priness in another life and I'm the only staff member of the Stone Pegasus Casino left in town, so I count as double rich, maybe? Either way, it might be fun to see how daring people can get!

I got them out of Retrospec's mailbox. I'm pretty sure they're a currency in that other world.

Yeah! There's one outside of that wafflehouse towards the middle of the city, the Wiffle Waffle? Sometimes you'll get a ticket in the mail and if you put it in there you get out something which supposedly belonged to that other you.

Oh, so, its possible these are actually important to you then?

[SLIGHT bit of guilt could be heard in his voice...as he was planning on keeping coin 3 as a memory keep sake of this nite, and eventually return coin 2 incase if she thought he didn't actually steal from her...also she is actually being nice to him...]

Maybe! I've not remembered anything about them yet, though.

[ She stands, and heads to where she tossed aside the rapier. She needs to collect that small, jeweled thing as well. ]

So, what are your plans for them then? Just keep em around? or just keep playing until someone steals them all?

I got them months ago, I've just sort of kept them around the apartment before now... so I guess my plans are just to keep playing this game, and whatever I still have, I have.

[He looks at her right in the eye and sees the impish deviousness, and grins back with a little mischief]

What else are you guilty of? Stealing hearts? Cause, come on, Im a thief but even I haven't stolen someone's heart yet

That's probably something every woman experiences eventually. .. but should you really admit so readily to being a thief?

And Im trying really hard to change that, buutt when you basically are Aladdin for a bit, its hard to give up

And "since May" isn't really reassuring that's like three weeks or so tops? That said, she blinks once and then twice and, ]

I wish...I don't remember crap in the other one yet...I mean having to steal just to survive...well okay that was AFTER mom was shot but still, same diffrence

[ . . . Not really? But more to the point, that hits her in the gut that someone would be that nakedly transparent about something like that. She can't help it, on reflex she recoils a little, her right hand going to cradle the elbow of her left arm, where she had to get it amputated. But ...

... Stealing to survive ...

And this kid is what, maybe five years younger than her? Possibly a little less, but he has a bit of a baby-face. Her own soft features look conflicted for a moment but- Aladdin? That's still such an odd comparison. Still... ]

And I've been adopted by Mr and Misses Matthew for almost two years now...they are really kind, probably more then what I deserve considering what I put them through...well and lets face it, its just me...

[The last bit he says a little depressingly]

I mean, yes, she is alarmed hat he's dropping her on this out of the blue for no reason on their first meeting and wonders how on Earth this kid survived long enough to be adopted if that's the case? But ... How could she be angry? She might not be the most empathetic, but that's a really alarming implied story??? ]

I'm...I'm trying to be more "open"...since May, when one brother of mine got some stuff out of me, that no one else has gotten in years...

Although I'm pretty sure I've gone overboard though...bright side, no lovely lady like yourself has yet to slap me for it
