{1st Clear Card, video}
[Sakura's back again on the app. Which, once she gets back home and realizes she still can't find certain items, well. Of course she is Concerned. Though not necessarily for reasons others might assume. Not so much for what this means for herself, especially given how defenseless this leaves her without her magic and cards, but she is. Worrying about the cards. Because of course she is.
She idly brushes a longer strand of hair framing her face behind her ear, biting her lip as she uses her phone, opening the Retrospec app. Which shows her bedroom in Fai and Iwai's place, where she sits cross-legged on her bed.]
Um, if everyone missed it before? I'm back. I mean, I have the app again. I'm sorry if I worried everyone before. But I just wanted to check. To ask, I mean. Others have probably gotten the app after having it deleted from their phones too, right? Only, when I got back, I realized some things were missing still. My cards. And my neckla-- my staff I use with them. They're gone. So is my bear.
[Anyone might question the bear, but this particular bear is unique and special, given her bond with Xiaolang. With his Other in her memories, Syaoran. Let alone if someone thinks she might be talking about normal playing cards or something.]
I usually always have the cards and necklace on me, and the bear usually stays in my room, but. When I got home, I can't find them anywhere. And I'm sure I didn't leave anything in...in that glass case I woke up in. If anyone has seen the cards, please tell me! Or at least, make sure they're alright.
[To be fair, it isn't like the cards are exactly defenseless, or necessarily vulnerable, considering the chaos they caused in her memories, but even so. She can't help worrying. And not just because she isn't sure how she is supposed to figure tricking her family with stopping them from worrying if she doesn't have Mirror to stay home in her stead while dealing with App Things?
She holds up a couple of drawings to try show what the necklace and an example of one of the Clow Cards look like.]

[His voice is quiet, and a little shy, but the look he gives her is nothing but earnest and meaningful. She didn't know the extents he went to for her sake-- but that was how he preferred it. A bear really was nothing in comparison to fighting off bugs, trying to keep her digital form safe, but if she treasured it, then all the better. Of course, he was fairly modest, too-- being praised over things like this always left him a little flustered.
Her next words catch him off-guard, however, and he can feel his heart nearly seizing in his chest. It was so easy to forget, at times, that love was a two way street. He had spent so long crushing on her, pining after her, that to have her reflect those feelings right back at him... it left him so wonderfully nervous and confused, and unsure what to do. He was happy enough for her to accept how he felt, but for her to treasure him as much as he did her, even without the connections of their past lives...
He ducks his face, feeling it heat up something fierce, his ears burning a bright red.]
You-- You don't have to. I mean... I--I wouldn't mind it if you did, but... it's only if you want to. I don't want you to feel like you need to do it just because I did.
[Xiaolang HOW ARE YOU STILL BEING A TSUNDERE AT THIS POINT IN THE RELATIONSHIP?? He'd honestly love anything Sakura made for him, but he didn't want her to feel pressured to return the favor!!
His eyes glance over towards her, his face still flushed.]
I guess... our feelings are the same, though. We would have... liked one another, regardless of what wound up happening.

[This time around. Since she's older and a little better at sewing and crafts now. Given her penchant for making gifts more often than buying something for someone on their birthday or Christmas. She's not even registering quite how overwhelmed he might be from this.]
I guess. But that's a good thing, right?

[The words shoot out of his mouth faster than his brain can process it, and it's not until a moment or so later that he realizes how it may have come off. He was so intent on defending her work that it made it seem like he preferred that other Sakura instead of her, which certainly wasn't true. He really was overwhelmed, not entirely in a bad way, and it was messing with his mental filters something fierce. Shaking his head, as if to negate the last thing he said, he starts over, hoping he could say it right this time.]
I mean--! I--I'd be happy with anything you'd give me. It doesn't matter if it's better than the other one or not. Anything you'd take your time to make for me is something I'd cherish.
[But he can only swallow and nod in response to her last question, working up the nerve to look her in the eyes as he fights down the color in his face. He had to get better at expressing his feelings towards her. Losing her those few weeks made him realize just how precious their time together was, and he didn't want to have any regrets should something like that happen to them again.]
... yeah. I think it's a really, really good thing.
I... I'm glad to have met you, you know. Moving from Hong Kong to Recolle... it was worth it, if only because of you.

[She smiles, clapping her hands together while the bear sits in her lap. Sakura hadn't really been reading into it all that much, as much as he might have suspected, but it's fine. As long as she has a chance to make him smile again by giving him a new bear she made.]
Because of me?
[Well. Obviously he feels for her, given their dating but. She still can't help but to feel a blush at her cheeks and nose at that. Moving across the world being worth it, away from some of his family, being worth it just because of her.]
no subject
So when she reacts in surprise to that statement of his, her face flushing that pretty pink, his smile grows all that more tender and fond. Without thinking, his hand reaches out to gently brush some of her hair behind her ear, fingers grazing across her cheek in the process.]
... yeah. Because of you.
You've made me really happy.
[And honestly, it really shouldn't have needed to be said, as it was obvious to everyone else around, but... he wanted to drive the point home. He may have been away from his country, with hardly any relatives around in the city, but... he had never been more happier there than he was here and now. Home was where the heart was, and Sakura has his in an iron grip.]

[She blinks, pausing when he brushes some hair back out of her face. Sakura is still adjusting to this sort of thing. This intimacy between them that she's never had with anyone else. While she's mostly comfortable about it with him, it's still new. Only a few months in yet in comparison to the years of experience others might have with relationships.
But of course she is happy. Not even just with the progress between the two of them within the last year or so but just being with him. He always seemed to help calm her down and help her out. Especially regarding the app.]

His fingers tremble slightly against her face, the feelings within him growing fragile and overwhelming all at once. This sort of intimacy was brand new to him as well, shows of affection few and far between in his family, and it showed with how tentative and awkward he could be. But... this was Sakura. He had trusted her with his feelings, and his heart, and he shouldn't be nearly as shy as he was in her presence.
With that thought in mind, and the wonderful warmth in his chest, he leans forward, carefully, minimizing the space between them. But he doesn't close it quite yet-- his eyes catch hers and he bites his lip, expression questioning and a little unsure. Was she okay with this? Should he back off? Asking directly felt awkward, but he didn't want to make her uncomfortable in any way, shape, or form.]

Not that it has really changed all that much, since they hung out before together as well, but this was a little different. Dates. Holding hands. And -- well. This. She's still a little shy herself, but she doesn't back away when he leans forward. Doesn't pull back to shrink against the seat or the side of the carriage of the ferris wheel. She swallows, but is quick to relax and lean in slightly herself, head tilting a little.]

He swallows a bit himself, feeling his heartbeat thrum in his ears and a burning warmth flood through his face. This hasn't been the first time they kissed, but it felt like such a jump up from the usual things he still got shy over-- one day he'll hug her when her life wasn't in danger-- that it still left him in a tizzy. He initially just wanted to give her a peck on the nose, something small so Touya wouldn't ream him if he passed by her room, but... with the way she was leaning towards him...
Steeling his nerves, his eyes slide shut as he closes the gap between them, his pulse pounding through his veins. It's gentle, his lips settling upon her own, the touch tender and soft and just a bit firm. It's by no means a passionate kiss, or the most skilled-- he was still a kid, after all, and a shy, inexperienced one at that. But it's earnest and sweet, the simple action filled with much more emotion than he could ever try to put into words.]
no subject
Which is just what it is. Her eyes close, and it's as if nothing else matters, nothing else temporarily exists during that brief moment that their lips touch. Sure, it is far from perfect, given how inexperienced they both are, but. That's part of what makes it so sweet. Along with that this level of affection was still rarer between them as they adjusted to this idea of dating. Of being more than friends.
Her hand shifts to rest at his chest, fingers briefly clutching at her shirt for a moment to steady herself.]
no subject
No worrying about the state of the city, about Sakura's lack of abilities, the number of other things that could affect the people he knew and cared for-- all that mattered right now was the two of them together, just like this. His thumb gently traces over her cheek, a soft caress as his heart beats wildly under her palm. Could she feel it? With how fast and hard it was pounding in his chest, it felt like the whole household could probably hear it, a tell-tale heart betraying his every emotion.
After a few moments, he carefully breaks away from the kiss-- not necessarily because he wants to, but because there was so long he could kiss her before they got uncomfortable or needed to breathe. He doesn't pull away entirely, though, his lips lingering over her own and his face a scorching red. Should he open his eyes now? He was almost didn't want to, to keep the moment alive for that much longer, but it'd be weird if his were still closed if hers weren't, right?
His eyes open just a crack, wondering just what he would see.]
no subject
When he does, she doesn't quite open her eyes immediately, taking a couple of seconds, but she does eventually. Her cheeks and nose are tinged a flushed pink from her still being a little flustered by it, still new to this. Her expression softened, maybe retaining some slight confusion in spite of herself, in spite of that she should expect that? Since they're dating now and all.]
Xiaolang-kun...
no subject
Swallowing hard, his hand moves carefully from her cheek back over to her hair, feeling the strands intertwine with his fingers as he brushes it back. Her breath tickles against his lips as she says his name, causing the heat in his face to grow so much it felt like he was about to burst into flame. It takes him a second to find his voice, breathing out her name as his pulse thudded erratically under her hand on his chest.]
... Sakura.
[But there was something else to be said here, wasn't there? A reason why he kissed her to begin with.]
I'm... glad. Glad that I make you happy.
no subject
...Me too.
no subject
He tenses for just a second as her hand makes it's way towards his face, but quickly relaxes as it settles on his cheek. Leaning a little into her touch, he graces her with a soft smile of his own, despite his flushed face, eyes tender and fond as he savors the moment. There doesn't seem like there's much else to say, or much else to do, aside from cherish this little world that they've fallen into.
... except a thought hits hit, abruptly, knocking him out of this sweet reverie as a cold sweat hits his brow. He didn't want to look behind him and check, but...]
... Sakura.
Is your door... open...?
[HE DOESN'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT FAI OR IWAI OR TOUYA WALKING PAST THIS......]
no subject
Not that it was too likely anyone would poke their head at her room behind the kitchen unless a meal was ready or something but still. Sakura's cheeks flush a brighter pink as she flails, stumbling from the bed to shut the door, leaning against it with a sigh.]
The door....I don't usually bother shutting it unless I'm changing or something. Sorry....
no subject
He watches with a bit of concern as she leans against the frame, his own face in familiar tomato territory. There's a quick shake of his head as she apologizes, internally kicking himself for being the one responsible for this.]
N-No, you shouldn't--
[He bites his lip carefully, still warm from their kiss, struggling with his words.]
I'm sorry. I should have been a little more mindful. Or paying more attention. You weren't expecting me to...to...
[His words trail off, too embarrassed to even say the rest. How this child can get any more red without passing out was a mystery to all, honestly.]
no subject
[Because. Well. Her brother wouldn't be silent or subtle about it. Likely nor would her adoptive fathers. So they were probably safe. That and Noah rarely emerged downstairs from his room unless it was meal time.
But still. It was something to consider. For the future. In being more cautious and mindful of privacy with such moments. Planned for or not. Because in the moment kisses were probably just as much something her brother or adopted fathers would tease about, at the very least, as much as they would in coming across something more planned.]
no subject
Hastily, he rises to his feet, keeping Xiaolang bear in his arms, face still flushed a bright crimson and his voice a squeak.]
M-Maybe I should go. You probably have homework and dinner and... stuff.
[Not that he particularly wanted to leave, but her family probably wouldn't be too pleased with them being together like this behind closed doors.]
no subject
[Because she wouldn't want Leon or the others to worry. To wonder where Xiaolang was. So of course she isn't about to keep him from heading home if he wants to. As much as she enjoys his company, and isn't necessarily considering her brother's reaction to them having closed the door behind them to her room.]
But um. I'll see you tomorrow.
[Or if not they would at least be able to text to keep up with how the other is doing amid everything.]
no subject
Though speaking of which...! Right before he reaches the door, he holds out Xiaolang bear to her, hands trembling slightly. No point accidentally taking it with him, after all.]
H-Here. I'll talk to you later.
[And quick as a wink, he ducks in, pressing the swiftest of kisses on her forehead. It was this sort of impulsive action that sent them in this tizzy to begin with, but at least they had some privacy. ]
no subject
[Is about all she manages then. Not that she might be quite aware how giddy and amused his cousins would be over him staying at hers or even visiting for that matter. Still, she takes the offered bear back in her arms when he hands it over, blinking at the unexpected press of lips to her forehead.]
Goodnight...
no subject
... G-Goodnight.
[And with that, he opens the door to leave, walking a few steps in the opposite direction before hastily righting himself towards the proper exit. Not that it escapes some mild teasing from Fai out in the hall, of course (something about 'Li-kun walking like a little robot, how cute!').]
