Well, this is pretty nerve-wracking, but I finally uploaded some music I composed. It's just four songs, between college and everything happening in Retrospec, I've been, well, pretty busy this year. But I hope to compose more soon!

And in less good news ... I had a rather troubling conversation with a ghost...

According to him, our Earth isn't what it seems. Apparently, while Recolle's real and stable, the rest of the world is actually a recreation of other Earths. It was made to be a centralized hub for planets across the galaxy that were destroyed, and Recolle's essentially the capital. It was all formed and balanced from the soul energy being generated by this city and the people here, and it's not exactly stable.

Good news, all the people outside of Recolle in this world are real, so it's not like our lives were fake. But bad news, if anything should happen to Recolle, the rest of the world would disintegrate. So...no pressure?

Oh, and has anyone heard anything about a river of souls beneath Recolle? A friend heard about it from another ghost, but we don't know much.

Sorry for all the troubling news. This isn't how I expected this post to go.

Kids these days are using tech earlier and earlier. Before you know it nurseries full of newborns will be outfitted with cell phones so the babes can text their parents and the nurse's station.
Molly won't stop tweeting selfies of her and her coolest toys. All the other babies want that dog stuffy you and Eren got her.

Haha, wow. And to think I didn't learn to read until I was 5 or 6 ... Molly's putting me to shame.
But alright, copy for Molly too. Too bad I can't sign digital stuff, or I'd make her a personal note.

Next recital or concert program or poster! She also accepts thanks in the form of attention and entertainment. Peekaboo is still all the rage.

Did that ghost you talked to say anything about how he died or when?

Peekaboo it is! Anything for my youngest fan.

Um, no. I thought it'd be rude to ask. Why?

Just curious. And wondering why those people are ghosts instead of- you know- elsewhere. Could people we know be ghosts? Do we need to prepare extra food for Thanksgiving in case older family comes?

It's...possible, I think. Eren found his father.

I haven't seen anyone I know though.

Seriously? Where?
Hope the ghosts are okay and not stuck here because of Retrospec. All the soul talk makes it sound like grabbing the ghosts would be easy for them.

Near the art museum. Eren introduced me to him.

I hope so too. Though it sounds like they didn't know anything about the river of souls, so...that's something?

Yeah that's good. Says something they didn't come from there. Starting to wonder if the river is Retrospec's storage space for future people.

Oh yeah. Not every day you get to meet your fiance's dead father.

That's...that's a very creepy thought. Then again, I'm not sure what explanation ISN'T creepy.

[Damn! Pressure! Foggy can only imagine Matt's dad greeting them and the level if freak out he'd experience.] Did it go okay? Everything cool between the three if you?

What's the proper storage for souls? River? Urn? Basket? Tupperware?
Isn't there a river of souls in myth? Maybe we're located on a scenic hill above the underworld.

I think so! He seemed to like me? He likes my music.

Uh...I don't know? Feels weird to store them in anything that's not a body really.
But oh yeah, isn't that a Greek thing?

Good to hear! -In both ways! Meeting the in-laws is always an adventure. I mean I wasn't hitched to your uncle when we met but I did want to make a positive first impression.

Yeah you're right. But the right body! I'd go with a river or nice vase over the wrong body.

Oh yeah? How did that go?

Oh yeah...good point. I've been in the wrong body before, and it was NOT fun.

I think I did o.k. considering you're still talking to me. You and your sisters were the nicest kids. It was your father that had me sweating. He was friendly but in a "this smile is me happy for you and my bro but if you break his heart I will break you" kinda way. Took a while to convince him I was legit and not the image of a musician going city to city laying every attractive fan desired. Matt did not like that.

Just a little psychological scarring? I think Matt was the only guy having a good time when that happened. You know how that went. Still weird getting stared at with another person's body.

[Oh...he thought this was going to be a story about meeting Uncle Matt's parents but ... guess not. There's a pause before he responds]

Eheh, well he did date a musician before and it didn't work out. Guess he was worried about his brother making the same mistake...

Yeah, I imagine. At least someone was having fun.
