Well, this is pretty nerve-wracking, but I finally uploaded some music I composed. It's just four songs, between college and everything happening in Retrospec, I've been, well, pretty busy this year. But I hope to compose more soon!

Anyway... you can listen to them here. Please enjoy them.

And in less good news ... I had a rather troubling conversation with a ghost...

According to him, our Earth isn't what it seems. Apparently, while Recolle's real and stable, the rest of the world is actually a recreation of other Earths. It was made to be a centralized hub for planets across the galaxy that were destroyed, and Recolle's essentially the capital. It was all formed and balanced from the soul energy being generated by this city and the people here, and it's not exactly stable.

Good news, all the people outside of Recolle in this world are real, so it's not like our lives were fake. But bad news, if anything should happen to Recolle, the rest of the world would disintegrate. So...no pressure?

Oh, and has anyone heard anything about a river of souls beneath Recolle? A friend heard about it from another ghost, but we don't know much.

Sorry for all the troubling news. This isn't how I expected this post to go.

Check with Tatsuma. A few people have found that river of souls before, through the subway. It's there, but Retrospec didn't know about it. I had to tell Zee about it.

I don't know too much about it myself, but I've seen it.

Back in February when some people went off to the four regions for the first time, the Mayor and a bunch of other important city officials were kidnapped. When we finally found them, we had to cross the river.

Hands would reach out and grab you if you got too close. And if you fell in, you forget things. It wasn't permanent at least, as the guy who fell in remembered who he was once we got out of there. It was a trip to say the least.

We got to it through the subway, but the tunnel was gone when I went back afterwards.

It's better than some of the proposed theories about our lives and our world.

I'm glad, this means Mary and the rest of the family is really out there living their lives. With some people waking up with mismatched memories and all the trouble contacting people out of the city I was starting to worry.

he’s calmed down from the crazed mess he’s been the past few days, essentially. being around people who do see you was a start to fix whatever was the problem. eren’s sitting on the floor, legs extended with a few notebooks in his lap, one opened to jot some things down. they’re all retrospec related, the others full and puffing our with extra paper. he’s got his phone lit up and open to the network on his other leg, and with a smile while finished his writing: ]

As to the news, is that why we can't leave the city? Or was that not shared?

Do you have any idea if the ghost you talked with seemed recent or... from a different time? The one who spoke to me thought that the planets of the people here still existed, but I think the ghost's clothes were from ... fifty? sixty? years ago. So things may have changed since then.

Any plans to upload those recordings to itunes to earn some money off that gift of yours?

Well, the songs are great and I'm gonna be kicking you as much money as I can for them, but the rest of that is...

I mean. What I'm getting (among all this other stuff) is that if we're here now, it's because we were literally born to be here, right now, in this moment. And that we need to make sure the city stays safe, because if anything happens to it, the world disappears.

Consider the stakes fuckin' raised.
