[Normally, Xiaolang doesn't do this.
Normally, Xiaolang's much more tight-lipped about his personal life, his romantic matters, because... well. He's a fourteen year old boy, an easily embarrassed one at that, and he'd die before giving people ammo to tease him with!!
But his amplified Wood Monkey traits-- hard-working, curious, and communicative-- has worn down his barriers quite a bit, leading him to post something under li xiaolang that he's probably going to regret come the twilight hours:]
What's something good to do with someone for Valentine's Day? Or what's something romantic you'd like someone to do for you?
[... ... ... is he making a Valentine's date idea list? Yes. Is he going to try to do all of them? EXTRA YES.]

Word for word. I remember because it wasn't said in a flippant way. It was really heartfelt.

... but crap, he was blushing again, and he had to force himself to maintain his composure. It was almost a year since they started dating, and he still got gobsmacked over the fact that she, somehow, loved him just as much in return.]
... it's the same for me, too. I wouldn't know what to do without her, either. She's a very precious person to me.
[Which he knows first-hand, thanks to her disappearing for a few weeks in September-- but he quickly realizes how gushy he's becoming, and he quickly switches gears so he doesn't embarrass himself further.]
Um, anyway-- I just wanted to say thank you for looking out for her when that happened. She said nothing dangerous happened, but with the way Retrospec is, sometimes...

I don't know if I would have been any help if something had happened. I'd only just gotten the app that month. Though I absolutely would have fought a bear for her.

She has that sort of effect on people. But that's also because she'd probably try to make friends with the bear, first...
[He means it with love, really. But he knows Sakura, and he knows her total unawareness when it comes to danger...]
So you've been on the app since December, then?

Ahhhhh, so she's the kind of person wants to make friends with everyone?
[It's not the approach Rinka generally takes toward people, but she admires those that do.]
November actually. Got it about halfway through the month and found the city had been turned into a corn maze.

[Though she's certainly cute like a panda... not that he could say that to her face without nearly exploding, but--]
... you're lucky you only had to deal with the latter half. The first part of that month... to say it was a nightmare is putting it lightly. You saw all the monsters around, right?

Monsters? What monsters?

There was... a virus, of sorts, that was going around in the beginning of October. It turned a lot of people on the app into different creatures, like vampires and ghosts and... werewolves, to name a few. It was really contagious, and even spread to people off the app, and... well.
Like I said, you were lucky to have avoided that. Though the corn mazes were pretty annoying, too.

That sounds like a Halloween movie marathon gone horrifically wrong.
