Normally, Xiaolang's much more tight-lipped about his personal life, his romantic matters, because... well. He's a fourteen year old boy, an easily embarrassed one at that, and he'd die before giving people ammo to tease him with!!

But his amplified Wood Monkey traits-- hard-working, curious, and communicative-- has worn down his barriers quite a bit, leading him to post something under li xiaolang that he's probably going to regret come the twilight hours:]

Yeah, it was rough at the end. I didn't love her any less, but I couldn't stand lying to her. Even though I couldn't tell her about the app, I still felt guilty. Honesty is a huge part of a relationship for me... and I was the one failing. I couldn't hide the fact that it bothered me and eventually she noticed.

But... it's not like it was your fault. Even if you did tell her what was going on, she wouldn't have believed you, anyway. You weren't lying to her, you just weren't able to tell her the truth.

Although... I get it, too. Ever since Leon lost the app... it's hard pretending nothing is wrong. Especially when we get stuff like this going on. It's a little easier to deal with since Li-Na's around, but... it's difficult keeping secrets from someone you care about.

I know it wasn't my fault. But the fact I couldn't calm her worry when I wasn't acting normally, that I could put her mind at ease and it led her to suggest we break up... don't you think that would be my fault? I didn't even fight it.

And it's different keeping secrets from your family than your girlfriend. Especially after we had been together for six years.

... that isn't fair. You couldn't help what was happening, and you never asked for it. And obviously, there's no way to explain it if she wasn't aware of it.

I mean... I understand. I understand why she broke things off... and why you let it happen. It's probably painful not to be able to help someone close to you when they're troubled, and even worse when you know you can't tell them any of it...

But that's why it isn't fair. Without Retrospec being involved, this wouldn't have happened. You'd still be with her.
