Money? Answers? None of the above? I'm all ears. The scouting project seems to be working out okay. I don't know if any of you have found a place that's really good to relocate or recover but maybe we should talk about that, too. …finally, bit of a morality question for you. If the fate of the world really is at stake, I'm not sure we should be squabbling over getting paid.

Though perhaps a little less ambiguity would help? It seems like an awful lot of guesswork for something with such high stakes.

Do not misunderstand me: I’m not out to try to save his life. I’m confident any justice system would come to the same conclusion, especially when shown how imprisonment has failed to stop the man already.

I just dont think he’s worth any one of us adding the burden of ‘killer’ onto our shoulders. Taking even a deserved life is not a small thing.

I appreciate it, but I don't really have the luxury of that choice anymore. Becoming A2 means inheriting her burdens. And even if I never brought the blade down on someone's neck myself, she has more than enough fucking burdens for me to feel it.

look, i don't really care one way or another. i remember my world kicking it. i even remember reincarnating to a place i'm pretty damn sure was earth. could be this earth, for all i know.

point is, i'm not interested in letting go. neither are you, sounds like. our lives are a hell of a lot better here. so what if they rebuild all our worlds and send us off packing back where we belong?

A2's world sucked ass. Not another human around for as long as I know about. They can't make me go back there and be the only person in it, and they can't make you go back to your world, either. If they don't give us the choice, we'll have to fight for it.

I know it'd really help things with my family. They're helping pay, and they have not been happy with my roller coaster of grades. And it's not like I can tell them "sorry I missed a week of classes, I had to help evacuate Magatus".

Honestly, I'm not too strongly optimistic, but I would definitely like to go the path of 'why can't we have it all' because just choosing one is kind of BS.
