retrospec | (no subject)

It's been brought to my attention (again) that some of you are looking for compensation for the work you're doing. I'm open to that. So tell me, Retrospecters, what is it that you're looking for? Money? Answers? None of the above? I'm all ears.

The scouting project seems to be working out okay. I don't know if any of you have found a place that's really good to relocate or recover but maybe we should talk about that, too.

…finally, bit of a morality question for you.

What's the priority here, you think? Working on chasing Vanderweele down this rabbit hole of a wild goose chase (wow that is too many animal analogies), or memory recovery of the company itself? Both of them are about as convoluted as you think, but not impossible.

Wait, not finally. One more thing since someone brought it up: in case you haven't noticed yet, you might want to pay attention to the things you've managed to bring back because, and I hate to make it sounds real drastic, but the fate of the world kinda depends on it? Just a little. Welcome to your destiny, everybody.

I'm honestly not sure what that second option really means. I just want the option that won't make me miss my finals at this point.

I have worked too hard these last two semesters to mess up my finals.

It's all well and good if the world doesn't end.

But if my GPA gets messed up...

Yeah, no kidding. It's hard enough keeping on top of my classes with everything going on with Retrospec.

I know all this world stuff is important, but I really need not to flunk anything.

It's hard enough even without the Retrospec stuff really.

I refuse to fail my history class. I don't care how much coffee I need to drink to study all these stupid dates.

I'm taking US History to 1877. I took US History last year at Recolle High, but I barely got a B in that class and this one is even harder. I keep getting states and cities and people mixed up.

Oh yeah...I think I took that my freshman year. The professor was so fixated on dates.

I think I made up songs to help me remember.

Do you remember any of them? Or maybe I can think up something similar... I think some sort of musical memory device would work for me.

Maybe just in case crazy stuff really goes down during exam week, ask your professors if you can take the exams early?

That's not a bad idea...if they'll let me do that anyway. Some of my professors are stickler for rules.

I hope you have at least one professor who plans everything ahead of time... Like legit things out side of Retrospec comes up for students all the time.

Yeah, fingers crossed. Some professors really seem to have problems realizing people have lives outside their own subject.

Reminds me of some of my chemistry professors back in the day.

So much dang homework. I know it was my major but, come on!

Maybe he means getting it so Ms. Wiseman and everyone remembers what Retrospec is/what they used to be trying to do, and getting them back to help?...
Which would be nice, but I have no idea how we'd do something like that.

From the very start, the main thing everyone's always asked the people at Retrospec for is more straightforward explanations. I guess there are some things they just can't do.
Ha, maybe that's part of Vanderweele's insidious plot. He cursed everyone at Retrospec admin with an indelible need to be scattered and cryptic.

Pretty sure a lot could be solved if they just talked to us directly and were honest about things.

The cryptic stuff just makes them seem more shady, you know?
