retrospec | (no subject)

It's been brought to my attention (again) that some of you are looking for compensation for the work you're doing. I'm open to that. So tell me, Retrospecters, what is it that you're looking for? Money? Answers? None of the above? I'm all ears.

The scouting project seems to be working out okay. I don't know if any of you have found a place that's really good to relocate or recover but maybe we should talk about that, too.

…finally, bit of a morality question for you.

What's the priority here, you think? Working on chasing Vanderweele down this rabbit hole of a wild goose chase (wow that is too many animal analogies), or memory recovery of the company itself? Both of them are about as convoluted as you think, but not impossible.

Wait, not finally. One more thing since someone brought it up: in case you haven't noticed yet, you might want to pay attention to the things you've managed to bring back because, and I hate to make it sounds real drastic, but the fate of the world kinda depends on it? Just a little. Welcome to your destiny, everybody.

It's been hell trying to cram everything in

Even when Retrospec covered for us in the past, it wasn't always perfect. So while I'd rather manage this myself, some compensation would be welcome.

[like, once she knew where Pesgare was, she could absolutely get back and forth from it and Recolle a lot faster w/ her boots than using the boats, but not everyone has that luxury]

They used to cover for you?!

Sort of. When we first explored Bosuma and Pesgare and the other regions, we were out there for several weeks and weren't able to come back to the city very easily. They fed our schools and jobs some sort of excuse. I still had to get caught up on my homework, but at least I my attendance wasn't penalized.

Luckily Elliot was in my team. So as soon as we got back to camp he was able to heal me.

Though, the icing on this cake was when I later accidentally sent footage of it to my English teacher (he's no longer on the network now), when I meant to send some completely different footage to my best friend.

How do you accidentally send something like that...?

By not double-checking which video file I was sending and the fact my friend's name was right below my teacher's name in my contacts.

Not very well. He kind of freaked out, even with my trying to reassure him that I got myself healed as soon as we got to camp. I don't blame him. He probably felt like Retrospec was throwing a bunch of kids into danger.
