Time. A weird kind of concept, isn't it? I've been thinking about it a lot lately…this whole "time" thing, the way the map's been laid out, and how this project came into fruition. I've been able to get a read on some stuff, and I've been transcribing notes from the company. Your app should have some new upgrades now thanks to a handful of factors none of which were my own ideas. I did the legwork, but the groundwork was provided. Thanks, you know who you are. We're rerouting for higher security, anonymity and the chance to overlap. Which means…what…? Here's a question for you. Where have you wanted to go more than anywhere in the worlds? A time, a place, anything like that. There's a theory about alternate timelines I might be looking into based on company research. What've we got to lose at this rate? Strip the defenses in the past, unveil the man behind the curtain in the present, secure the future. Someone told me this kind of thing was a lot of power to trust on you guys…but isn't that all we can do now? Trust each other and test the waters. No missions this month. I checked out everything in Respatrum and Bosuma and it seems that the people there are more self-sufficient than I anticipated which was nice. The subway's still up and running though. Coordinates will be incoming in a few days. I'm testing them out myself to make sure they're stabilized. Stay sharp. I do have a question for those of you who have regained physical regains: will everyone continue to notice them forever? I'm getting tired of having to explain my new contacts and why I'm apparently wearing fake fangs.

On a related note, has anyone received fangs and figured out how not to bite yourself repeatedly with them? I'm still attempting to figure that out.

Some get used to it, some are polite enough not to ask..
but there's always going to be someone out there that asks invasive questions because you have different features. Either that or unsolicited commentary, which is equally annoying.

Yes. Several. Eyes and hair are the most noticable...

I understand, my eyes were changed too. I was lucky enough to have my hair untouched, but I can't say I appreciate the other changes very much.

I also received a massive scar across my chest. I honestly can't imagine how I survived something like that. It isn't nearly as obvious as the eyes or fangs, but it is worrying in its own way.

Contacts would have been a great excuse if I hadn't been too afraid to put them in when my eyes changed...

In my case people mostly just started being too polite to mention it and then acted like it was normal, but I'm only dealing with an eye change. Fangs... those are a bit trickier

And unfortunately I have no idea how you might go about not biting yourself, sorry, but I hope that stops soon. Sounds painful

I've been claiming contacts because my new eye color is unnatural. It's far easier to pretend I've decided to wear them for... some reason. Thankfully I haven't had to explain that yet. I suppose everyone thinks finals are driving me crazy.

I feel you, same here... mine used to be brown, now they're purple. The whole thing freaked me out and then I was too scared to put in my actual contacts, so I just wore glasses for the first part of the month.

And I mean, hey. Finals (and college and general) is the best excuse, right? "When else am I going to be able to express myself like this?" Or something.

Ahaha... ouch. I suppose there's something to be said about hubris there, though...

Oh dear, I can see where that would have been frightening. It's good you've gotten used to them now, though!

And yes, that is something I should be wary of... Getting overconfident always results in a painful reminder that I haven't had these for very long yet. I'm sure I'll get used to them in time, but I'm not exactly looking forward to whatever memories I'll regain regarding them.

But (and I'm going to be a hypocrite saying this) just try to focus on the life you're living now. That life is past, and if you have regrets from back then, it's all you can do now to move forward and live the best you can with your second chance

I think it's very important not to lose oneself to their past life, yes. I'll always do my best to make sure that doesn't happen. I have a lot I'm hoping to do in this life, and forgetting all about that for what has already happened sounds dreadful.

Believe it or not, I use to have an American accent. The person in my memories is from England, and I got his English accent. The NPC's will stop commenting on your physical changes. Eventually.

Really? I hadn't considered receiving an entirely different accent... That's so strange. I imagine that got a lot of comments at first as well.

But yes, it was strange. As far as I know, I'm the only one on the app that got a permanent accent change.

And yeah, quite a few comments. After a month the NCP's stopped commenting.

To be honest, I've been wondering that as well. I can't think of anything else that would cause me to grow fangs suddenly. I really don't like the implications of that.

Werewolf, demon or resident of hell might have fangs(another fellow apparently LIVED in hell but wasn't being punished, and complained about having fur and some bossy snake lady threatening to eat him...haven't seen him in a while either, but according to him if you just happen to live in hell, it's quite nice...)

Okay, so she lives at[Insert address], she is a small sweet middle aged lady...if she remembers the app and all, tell her I say hi and hope she gets better soon.

She was SUPER sick last time I was there and she needed blood that she keeps in her fridge, so I carried her there.

Oh, fire just feels like having a warm blanket around me, my clothes don't even burn...although I DO need to be careful that I don't set OTHER things on fire

There really are so many different people with many different experiences... I can't say I really envy that one, but it sounds very interesting.

Thank you, I'll be sure to get in contact with her. I don't really like the idea of having to drink blood, I sincerely hope that's not something I'll have to deal with right away.

I know, kinda makes you wonder what might happen if all of these worlds do manage to come back and we can go back and forth like we might go to another neighbourhood.

For instance, my world doesn't have electricity, they have magic instead, one city, in particular, uses magic for EVERYTHING and life is grand...if you can pay your taxes and contribute to the state anyway, otherwise your cast down and get drained of your life force which is turned into magic to serve the state's need for it. So that alone could be a game changer for that city, let alone other goods that could come from there or other parts of my world let alone the services that can be offered to the other.

Sorry...off topic, hope she can help you with your fang and maybe vampire thing.

They'll get used to it eventually. I got white hair and red eyes a month into my Retrospec life--people hardly throw their eyebrows up at it anymore

Wear it with confidence, and remember: people don't really look at you as much as you think they do. They're too wrapped up in their own lives

Oh, that's very good advice, thank you. I've received some questions about it, but I suppose I've just been so worried that I've been assuming everyone's staring... I know most of my fellow students couldn't care less since it is a bit of a stressful time.
