Three options for you.

1.) We test the timelines based on the ideas of people who went backwards and checked into things. You know who you are. Like I said before, we have three tries to check to try and improve the situation.

2.) We just charge straight ahead and hope for the best.

3.) We actually come up with a plan with volunteer basis, split you guys into groups, and proceed from there.

As I've mentioned, Mr. Murdock raised a proposition of having volunteers for the Retrospec project to prove themselves to Vanderweele and get him to back off the project. Mr. Togusa changed the contract in the past that Retrospec will go public, more or less, when the first world has reached full completion. Ms...Anna (Anna it's too weird to call you by something proper) has volunteered herself to jump forward to a degree where she's regained her abilities, powers, and strength.

So if you see double, don't be alarmed.

Here's the thing. No matter what path we take, it's always been the same. The end has always been about stopping Vanderweele's influence over the city and shutting down his power. While there are a lot of ways we can do that, it's always been that ultimate goal to get the city back to what it was. Release people memories. Adjust everything. All that. The pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place to give us a clue of what we're supposed to do here.

Under the ocean there's a base in a trench hidden away. The further you go, the less the water appears. It's displaced, but the pressure of the ocean itself might kill you before you get down there unless we loosen the binds.

We have two objectives here: destroy the eye that's feeding his defenses in the city, and destroy the base in the ocean to siphon his power out and stop what's been started.

Pick a side. Once you know your strengths and weaknesses, we'll have a better sense of how to attack and take him by surprise.

Got it?

Fixing the city? That's "finishing" its regrowth. And taking away his power means sending memories and energy back to where it belongs.

This is going to be the last thing I'll ask of you guys. So...think on that.

maidofmistakes: Conspiratorial. (Let's pretend this is a good idea)

Super Hero High? I guess you could say it's kind of like a trade school. But for supers.

I mean... I went to a school for witches and wizards, so why not super heroes right?
maidofmistakes: Recovering. (The bruises are from paintball.)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-10 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't see why not. If you can do something that helps people, it should be encouraged, right?

It really depends on the situation. In the wizarding world there is The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy. Which means we can't reveal magic to muggles (non-magical people). So helping helping someone in need really depends on weather the person is magical or not. Like you can go to prison for revealing magic.
maidofmistakes: Embarrassed, looking upward. (Hey. I left a taco in your dishwasher.)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-11 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Wait, why? That sounds really messed up.

I'm assuming that since you go to Super Hero high school, you have powers. Has anyone ever been scared of you because of your powers?
maidofmistakes: Looking up. (She's asleep in a Fisher-Price toy car.)

Here? Well, people got really weird about it and were teasing me at school. Not just me, but the other people with Retrospec powers who let on. But then they kind of went back to normal. In the other world, though, people were mostly okay with powers themselves. I guess because they're used to them.

I meant in your memories. Like outside of school were others scared of you?

Recolle doesn't count because after a while the NPC's just accept that is how you are.

But only teasing? What are all your powers? You don't worry about people freaking out about your abilities and try to kill you?
maidofmistakes: Suspicious, not sure. (I can do like 15 pushups.)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-14 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know if they could, mostly. I'm strong, fast, I can fly... I mean, there are some things I can't do. Maybe some supervillains could have exploited that. The normal people were pretty good with it, though.

Ah, see those are powers that aren't scary.

While my magic allows me to levitate, move object, and conjure up flowers, I can also magically force people to stop moving, give them boils, cause their teeth to grow and a fast rate, and other unpleasant things.
maidofmistakes: Annoyed, lifting something. (Why are you in my phone)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-14 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Wait, why would you do any of that stuff?

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-15 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Imagine, someone spying on you and they try to run away. What better way to stop them than by magically paralyzing them?

Also, such spells are good to know about if someone uses them on you or your friends. Then you know what happened and you can reverse them with a counter spell or potion. It's best to not be ignorant of the magic that can harm.
maidofmistakes: Nervous and questioning. (She tried doing a backflip)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-15 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
I guess so. So people started hating you, and you had to just pretend you didn't exist?

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-17 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
People fear what they don't understand. There are laws they we can't use magic in front of muggles (non-magical people).
maidofmistakes: I'm running out of ways to say "unsure." (I wish we had vans that drove around)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-18 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
That's really kind of sad. It must be lonely having to be so cut off.
blondferret: (Default)

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-19 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Considering he was raised by parents who believed that wizards were superior to muggles... doubtful.
maidofmistakes: Hugging herself sadly. (We are all done wearing pants today)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-19 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Ouch. That's gotta be awful, having a family that hates everyone different from you.

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-20 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
When he was younger he bought into the dogma, but later in his teens... well... screws him over. Blackmailed into committing murder or he and his parents will be killed.
maidofmistakes: Worried with Batgirl. (I don't think it's food poisoning.)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-20 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
Wait, and this happened because they were racist?
blondferret: (tired)

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-20 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes. Though it wasn't like punishment for being racist. More of the crazy evil leader of the blood superiority group was angry at his dad for failing in a mission (don't know what it was) and the dad was put in prison by the authorities. As punishment, his son (my other self) was given the assignment to kill his headmaster at his school. If he failed, he and his mother would die.
maidofmistakes: Apologizing. (So I literally just wrote "sorry")

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-20 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
That's terrifying. And you had to do it even though you didn't want to?
blondferret: (Default)

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-20 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
It was either do that or die. To be fair, he was 16 and under a lot of stress.
maidofmistakes: Trying to explain. (I shouldn't have to tell you to stop)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-20 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
I'm really sorry. If that stuff happened to me, I don't know what I'd do. In my old life, I almost got tricked by a guy trying to convince me my parents were still alive, so I guess I wouldn't be strong enough to save everyone there, either.
blondferret: (you can't be serious)

[personal profile] blondferret 2019-06-20 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you. Luckily for him, his attempts all failed and the potions teacher killed the headmaster.

It does put a person in a hopeless feeling situation. How exactly was this guy trying t trick you?
maidofmistakes: Mnemosyne crystal glowing. (You now have the mental image of me)

[personal profile] maidofmistakes 2019-06-20 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
That doesn't really sound lucky, but I guess if there's no other option...

I guess he'd been all through the school taking stuff from people from all different places, and he needed something of mine, but he couldn't steal it. So he found out that I was already wondering if they'd survived, then used some hologram thing, or I think it actually might've been magic, to make it look like my mom was on Earth. I only figured out otherwise because she called me "Supergirl," like everyone on Earth does. My family called me "Kara."
