you ever have something happen to you that you're like "nah that'll never happen to me" but then here you are, plus one dog and feeling the weight of parental responsibility on your shoulders? i'm too young for this. anyway this is ruffles at the dog park just now! retrospec's width limitations suck but, you can probably tell he's a really good dog. well, i guess, with his previous owner and all. so i pose this question to you: do you think animals can feel sad and do they miss people that are no longer here?
[are you talking about yourself or the dog, prompto?]

kinda had to force him to go out to the park but then he was fine once we got the toys out
he was fine the first couple of days but i guess it's finally hitting him you know?
no subject
you're trying, though. I'm sure he'll be fine soon enough
what happened?
no subject
he uh had to leave because of some family reasons i don't think he'd want me to get into it
but it was kind of an emergency sort of thing
no subject
you're a good friend for looking after his dog when he's away

but you know what they say about karma!! i'm stocking up on good deeds!
[he's a sentimental bastard]

[then there's toys and vet bills and stuff to keep them clean and also to clean up after them and treats and the list goes on]
there is that
I'm sure the dog'll give back too, once he settles in with everything
you can also teach them to do some pretty ridiculous stuff, too. I've seen videos of dogs that can get drinks for someone out of the fridge
[It was just a small price for caring for their every need, right??]

dunno what i can teach rufus at this point but i'll see about continuing to train him
i know his previous owner was pretty good at this kinda thing
at the very least he behaves very well!
no subject
it wouldn't really shock me if a number of people'd trained dogs to do stuff like that. it seems like they can learn anything with proper motivation and training
you won't know until you try
and, hey, when your friend comes back, giving him his dog back with the ability to do all kinds of cool shit would be the greatest welcome-home gift, right?

[prompto makes a note to hit him up a later to chat or something.]
yeah, that would be
that... makes me feel better about things
thanks

Because this "Prompto" (interesting name) seems like a well-meaning guy, too.]
you're doing a good thing
if you keep about it with good intentions I'm sure everything'll be fine
IVE BEEN MEANING TO ADD U ON PLURK....
PLEASE DO!!!
