Okay, look I might not be the most social butterfly at school. I know I'm not the most academically gifted. My interests lie elsewhere and my brother knows that. My brother is also my teacher for the first time ever in a city that is not exactly big enough for people to easily forget things. In fact, it kinda sounds like everyone has the exact opposite problem.

So, why oh why, did he feel a need to just torpedo any kind of anonymity I may have been enjoying and lack of spotlight to go and blurt out my FAMILY nickname in class? Does he want me to just die from embarrassment? Did he need to give me more reason to not want to go to school?

I love my brother, but honestly - we needed to be at seperate schools for a reason. Or at least never the same class. It's called maintaining order!

[ Natasha Natalie is 16 and the sister of [personal profile] devilsadvocato so if you're the same age and one of the students in her class feel free to have been there for the #teendrama that was Foggy calling her NATTIE in front of everyone. Also anyone in her family would be aware of the nickname. ]

Well. Unless someone else has gotten an entire house from Retrospec, I rather think I win. In bragging rights, if nothing else.

[There's a pause, and then Rosalind adds a few photos: these ones, specifically, that I'll link so I don't spam yall. also ETA: there's no wires or pipes and certainly no giant machine in the midst of all this; it's just an ordinary house. ...with a giant hole in the second floor.]

That being said: points off for the giant gaping hole in the second floor.

So we're doing this unit on advertising in English class, right? And we watched all these super-old commercials and talked about them and stuff. The point is, now I kinda have this stuck in my head.

Questions:
-How do I get it out of my head?
-How'd they make the kids get lifted by the invisible guy when CGI wasn't invented in the sixties? Wires? Blue screen, except for black-and-white somehow? Retrospec? I don't get it.
-Are oats even a good source of protein? I thought that was, like, meat and peanuts and stuff, and grains were for carbohydrates or something.

Sorry to ask, but this is really bothering me. At least it's not like those creepy burger ads with the plastic-face king.
