You could be using contact lenses or a photo filter.

Memory changes are one thing, but physical changes? What could possibly have caused that?

Memories are changing. Physical changes are harder to explain.

How do you know what color your eyes are? Or were, before. Did they feel blue?
Reality may not be able to be altered, but perhaps perception can.

feel
blue
are you high
im not right now and i know they were blue because im staring at photos
MY PROFILE HAS THEM AS BLUE
[
or it should be but eh. it's tiny and was never altered.]no subject
What if the color of your eyes hasn't changed, but you now perceive them as purple? Would it be so different from people perceiving horses as giant birds?
no subject
i pet and fed baby chocobos that day
everywhere horses disappeared
or are you trying to say
they were never real
no subject
But our memory of horses is less clear. After all, there are no horses here in front of us just now. What if the ones who don't remember horses are correct, and our memories are the false ones?
In other words, what if your eyes were always this color, and your memory that they were blue is a fabrication?
no subject
because everyone always said i had my dads eyes
and his are blue too
the whole thing about horses being fake is whats out of this world
i remember horse head masks vines and memes
now their replaced by rubber chocobo heads
memes dont just vanish overnight
the internet never forgets

And memories, as we've seen, have been vulnerable to change.

Even if we accept it's only a matter of perception and memory, that's still frightening in its scope. Suppose that you never did have blue eyes, but they were able to make you think they did. What other facets of our identity could be fraudulent?
no subject
pretty sure everyone thinks that
maybe they got us that way
