so a lot of people have been talking about receiving packages in the mail from retrospec lately. we've had fruit, stuffed animals, various accessories... but i want to know more about the other things people have been getting. the weird changes that don't make sense

like anya suddenly being fluent in russian or yin's eyes changing color

how many of you guys have had stuff like THAT happen so far? what sort of changes are we seeing here?

people have been getting these flashes over the past month and a half, and now some people are turning up with these random physical changes or abilities they definitely didn't have the day before. i wanna know if there are just a couple people who've experienced this or if it's more common than we think


on a somewhat related note, who here knows anything about swordfighting? i think i want to try something

Not natural, but it was a sort of wine color someone could get dying with a dark purple or red mix and not bleaching first. Definitely not that outlandish, even if the color usually looked a bit like 'amateur hour' in dye jobs, save that it was clearly done thoroughly and correctly. People just usually bleached first was all.]

I think I know who you are speaking of, and I will attest to their strength being unnaturally potent compared to when we first met.

My hair was exactly like that in my visions, and I don't think it would be impossible to dye it that color. I do find it a bit odd that I was this thorough in cleaning up afterwards. I was drunk, after all. But drunks can be meticulous sometimes.

that's true i knew a guy who cloroxed the counters any time he got too buzzed, the entire apartment smelled like "fresh lemon scent"

so i guess for now it doesn't count. but hey, how long have you been on the network?

I can only imagine that experience with a certain amount of confused dread. To answer that question, though, I appear to have been one of the original testers, so about six weeks, I believe.

yeah i tried not to spend too much time there if i could avoid it. i'm pretty sure all three of them were constantly high on cleaning supplies

You are welcome. There isn't much I can't say that you haven't likely seen on the network. None of us seems to have any real answers.

no, not yet, but i think if we keep collecting info and comparing what we know, we'll get there. it'll just take time

And in the meantime, we deal with the strangeness as we go. But it is not as if we did not already know it, is it?
