so a lot of people have been talking about receiving packages in the mail from retrospec lately. we've had fruit, stuffed animals, various accessories... but i want to know more about the other things people have been getting. the weird changes that don't make sense

like anya suddenly being fluent in russian or yin's eyes changing color

how many of you guys have had stuff like THAT happen so far? what sort of changes are we seeing here?

people have been getting these flashes over the past month and a half, and now some people are turning up with these random physical changes or abilities they definitely didn't have the day before. i wanna know if there are just a couple people who've experienced this or if it's more common than we think


on a somewhat related note, who here knows anything about swordfighting? i think i want to try something

and apparently i didn't explain myself well, the gift i got WAS from retrospec. it just said on the gift tag that it was from yuri's angels

i'm pretty sure catapuss is just a stuffed animal though, not something that's gonna spy on me. that's why i didn't bother mentioning it up there, it's not anything life-changing

Perhaps they favor you, for whatever reason. Or they have an odd sense of humor, considering the other things I've seen...

Regardless, it does seem like Retrospec picks and chooses certain people for their gifts, even if they don't make sense. Again, either from being a favorite or you've done something they like... it's most likely not random.

but i don't know if i like the idea of being one of retrospec's favorites, or doing stuff that they like. i don't like the idea of playing into their hands

anyways, the point is, i didn't exactly accept it from them. i came home and it was there waiting for me

i know a couple people were talking about trying to return them, but i never heard what happened. you can always ask yuri, though. maybe he'll be more likely to tell you

You may not have accepted it directly, but it's still in your home, yes? Are you fond of it? Do you care to give it away? I know someone who also received a gift and was adamant about accepting it... I'm just curious.

Well, anyway, it doesn't seem like there'd be any ulterior motives on their end, if you were to just give it away... I have a hard time accepting that they just want to send gifts inexplicably, but it is what it is.

believe me i find it just as weird as you do. i've seen a couple people saying that they somehow knew whatever they received was "theirs" too but this?

i'm pretty sure in this case it's just as harmless as it seems
