Jim Halloway Research & Development Retrspec Incorporated As of this post all apples, oranges, lemons, and limes have been replaced in-universe as the silly dancing fruits shown above. This means that as with Chocobos all NPCs will insist this is how things have always been and history/movies/etc will back them up. In honor of St. Patrick's Day characters will find a request from Retrospec to upload a picture of themselves to the network in which they are wearing something green. They will find themselves shocked lightly by their device if they try to use it without complying. Rude? A non-triggered memory regain can be earned through participation in this post in honor of Lucy's birthday the holiday with proof of a single thread with at least five comments from your character. If you plan to redeem this, please submit it to our regains page with the explanation of "March freebie". This must be submitted before April to be valid! Regardless of whether or not a character earns the freebie, all characters will find a gold coin with the Retrospec logo on one side and a Chocobo on the other. On the outside edge of the coin they will find "Jim, put a meaningful quote here. - Janet" engraved in a beautiful font. The Chocobo will morph into a horse should your character obtain the memory regain from the event; it will stay a Chocobo if your character does not obtain the memory regain. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently.

because seriously, i don't know how anyone can stomach dicing these little guys up or tossing them into a blender or juicing them when they're just sitting there looking like they're having a good time

And yet, to all but us chosen few, consuming these cheery little fellows has suddenly always been a part of everyday life. 'Tis as if their memories have been rewritten, and they know not of their own fruity bloodlust. Juicelust? [ no that sounds wrong ]

All the more reason this quest must be carried out as soon as possible.

like at least we actually can't find horses anywhere but how can you ignore a dancing smiling fruit that's right in front of your own eyes?

it makes me kind of worried... if more things change is it just going to get weirder and weirder?

However, egads! You may well be correct! It is likely the next curse will be even more wide-ranging! It will no doubt hit our weak points for massive damage!! [ They could get the pineapples next time! ]

Very good. Even if these fruits, which may or may not be under demonic possession, end up being no good in glorious battle, we must not be distracted by their wigglings and jigglings.

Oh? It has gotten...anime? I am familiar with the medium, but I prefer to read stately tomes such as the Ars Goetia in my spare time.

It is always wise to be wary. Fu fu fu. [ In reality, of course, Ranko's not prepared at all - she's just as lost as anyone else, but badly pretending that she has this all under (demonic?) control is comforting to her. ]

But sales of contact lenses would no doubt triple! Even though the glistening glare of iridescent irises is nothing to be ashamed of...

but the lucky part is no one can really see weird eyes at night
