Once I had entered the building, the door locked behind me. Inside, it appeared to be an ordinary waiting room. However, there was no one inside.

All the doors were locked, and nothing worked. However, I was eventually able to get out. The front door reopened after I posted something here. Evidently, I triggered some kind of automatic mechanism.
