Hey history nerds. Or coin collectors Anyone know where this coin is from? Got it in the mail, and I don't recognize it. Certainly nothing from the States or the UK. I tried reverse image search and nothing came up. And this is on the heels of having one of those hallucinations everyone else has been having. It was... bizarre, to say the least. At least this thing seems innocuous enough.

I am not particularly surprised. It is that feeling that it is 'yours,' and that it is somehow important, even if part of you wishes to be rid of it. Everything is like this, I think, to some extent.

Or at least, how it is tied to the visions you've seen. The not knowing can drive one to distraction, especially if the object is not quite as obvious as, say, a gun or a family portrait might have been.

the vision i saw is pretty drastically different than any conceivable way this coin could be tied to it.

Well then, I wonder what you will see related to this coin in that case. Still, I would definitely hold onto it. Maybe not carry it with you, but keep it safe. We don't know if these are important somehow.

It is extremely odd. I've had the same experience, before I even knew what a thing was for. It doesn't really get any easier, because it is basically the chicken and the egg. Which really came first? The item, or the vision?

Honestly, you're probably right. Others have tried to convince me there's more to it, but I have yet to see any real plan behind it. Perhaps we will learn in time.

I really am not sure, but that does not mean that I will not at least make an effort to prepare. We can only do what we're able to do, after all.

Almost anything is better than nothing, but regardless we need something to give us a chance to try another angle, some other angle somewhere. I'll be keeping on the lookout anyway.
