You know, I was starting to feel a little left out of everyone else having strange hallucinations about things they never think they did, but then I received a photograph. The note stated it was me in the photo, but as you can tell, that's a little difficult to tell, and I've no idea who that girl is, either; it's not me as a child, that is for sure. More curious is the date says '1970' - that's before I was born. It didn't trigger any kind of hallucination either, so perhaps it was delivered to the wrong place? If it is someone else's, I would be happy to forward it to your address if necessary. Otherwise, I think it may be going in a box. It's kind of creepy.

And that's what makes me feel the most unsettled...

It's not like damage to the picture after it was developed. It was either a problem with the camera, or something that happened in development.

... Ah, I see the profanity 'filter' caught you, too. It is rather haunted looking, isn't it? The vines on the windows seem really ominous.

maybe its photoshopped though? for a prank. u can do some pretty creepy stuff with that. and then they got it printed on photopaper?

I wish it didn't look so aged. That would be a little more difficult to pull off. It feels and looks like it's been around for decades, at least. I'd believe the picture itself is from 1970, even if I don't believe the woman in it is me.

Creepy as it may be. I don't really think it is me either way. It's just a photograph of someone with my similar build. Without a face it's impossible to tell who it is anyway.

Not that I'm aware of. Unless you do have some true time to let it sit crumpled up in a pocket or something to get that worn-paper-edge look, but that doesn't explain how old the exposure on it looks...

There's a smudge next to my name there, it almost looks like something else was written there, but I can't tell. The only other curiosity is the handwriting; it's not mine. In fact, it almost looks like a child's.

I can't think of a single person that would.

I don't recognize it, my father and brother don't recognize it. It's dated before I was even born, the woman is definitely not my mother, all things considered, she had a little different build, and I definitely didn't look like that as a child.

Aside from my name and that year there on the back, there's nothing else I can read.

So I'm a bit at a loss of what to even categorize this as... aside from a mistake.
