You know, I was starting to feel a little left out of everyone else having strange hallucinations about things they never think they did, but then I received a photograph. The note stated it was me in the photo, but as you can tell, that's a little difficult to tell, and I've no idea who that girl is, either; it's not me as a child, that is for sure. More curious is the date says '1970' - that's before I was born. It didn't trigger any kind of hallucination either, so perhaps it was delivered to the wrong place? If it is someone else's, I would be happy to forward it to your address if necessary. Otherwise, I think it may be going in a box. It's kind of creepy.

You think that girl is still around? As in, around here? Maybe as a ghost story.

I'd keep an eye out if I were you, though. They're not threatening you, exactly, but they're definitely threatening you. No one just sends a creepy photo with a destroyed face like that and doesn't mean business.

How scary. Maybe I should turn it in as evidence for a murder case.

But still, what in the world would they want with me? Especially since it seems like the girl should be an important factor here. Why would you send a death threat with a second person involved?

How should I know? I'm not the one who sent it.

Maybe it's like a serial killer type deal. They already got one person, now they're coming for you.

Well, then what would I do? Turn it in to police with no evidence anyone is after me? Or hire a body guard, perhaps? I don't want to die if that's the implication.

We do have cops on Retrospec already, you know that, right?

A single photograph is enough to build a case on?

When it comes from a company that messes with people's heads and genetically alters every fruit to have a face? Yeah, I think so.

Especially if you get one of the Retrospec cops, I bet they'd believe it. Hell, I think any of us are gonna believe any crazy crap at this point.

I suppose that's true, and I do know someone with law connections.
It's not just that, though. You have to prove it to court and... there's no name attached to this.
Saying the entire corporation of RetroSpec is going to try to do something terrible to me is still too farfetched I think.

Let your lawyer friend worry about that.
We've got plenty of proof Retrospec is messing with our heads, let them try to figure out how to show it to anyone off-network.

That, or hope there's also a judge on here.

That's probably the difficult part. Though if RetroSpec decides it wants to target someone that high-ranking and take the risk it just works out better for us.

Yeah, unless we get either a judge or a lawyer on here, you're not gonna be able to do anything legal about it.

But so long as you've got something for self-defense on you, I think it'll be fine.

I'll be sure to keep the pepper spray in arm's reach. [She's still not convinced, but hey, maybe something bad will happen.]

There you go. Mace any potential murderers and/or Retrospec in the face. Show them who's boss.
