Everyone - there's something important I need to share with you.

I took the time to explore the back rooms of the history museum on my break. I found some old brochures under the cabinets and other things, but I also found a crack in the wall.

I went in to investigate an hour ago. I don't know about anywhere else in the city, but this isn't normal. It looked like I had walked into space or some sort of dreamscape, only...this was real. I tried to find where it lead, but I ended up seeing some sort of video recording. Or memory. I can't tell.

Anyway, everything went black and I woke up here. I'm fine, but that video is now on my phone. I'll share it with you.

They may or may not recognize the man in the video as one of the founders of the city, and the city's first mayor, giving his acceptance speech and making promises of industrializing the city to make it into something big and beautiful. The crowd for the most part seems to be into it, but if they watch closely enough they will see there are several people in the crowd who aren't happy with this agenda. They appear to be farmers and laborers, some of the first settlers and families in the city.]

You can see this, right? It looks to be real from what I can tell.

Is this a bootleg? Are you posting a camrip of some spooky void movie right out in the open?

It's not a bootleg. Even if it technically is a free download of a video that shouldn't exist.

I don't think this is illegal if there aren't any laws about movies in the void.

Besides, you're still sharing it on American soil. Who knows, the FBI could be coming for you right now.

Can they prove I have it if they can't see it?

Maybe they don't have to. Maybe they have proof of you being there, recording it with your camera in the first place.

Hell, maybe it was a trap all along.

When was the last time you heard of FBI actually catching someone? There are sites that have stayed up for years. They can't catch everyone, much less one person outside of reality.

But in all seriousness, the government might actually be involved if that's the hint the video gives us.

Maybe that's just what they want you to think. You never know with the FBI.

At any rate, there's no way to tell if they are right now. But it's definitely an idea.

Well I'm not letting myself give into paranoia. We might as well never leave our house if the government is stalking us.

Boston Terrier. He doesn't have good experiences with people except for me.

He also has less sanitary methods for people he's not happy with.

I would be careful if I were anyone else.

He must love the mailman.

He's ruined one of my housemate's clothes multiple times.

Normally we only let him out into the back yard during the day, but we've let him go wherever he wants ever since we got too small to take complete care of him. I don't know what the mailman goes through nowadays.

Well, has your mail been showing up damaged or late? Because that's a pretty good indicator for how pissed off they are about your dog.

It's been in one piece when I come back from home. Keep in mind it's only been a few days.

Sadly, I'm not home when the mailman comes, nor do I have the proper setup to record a video.

Perhaps we'll have to wait until Saturday.

Stake out the mailbox on Saturday morning and see what happens.

Or set up one of those Russian dashcams and aim it at the mailbox. That way you don't even have to keep an eye out yourself.
