hello retrospectres! I just learned something fantastic: Total Recall is still doing their monthly *Free Board Game Day!* for those not in the know, this is an event where they set out a bunch of board games in the play area and you can try them out! my friends and I go pretty much every month, it is a lot of fun. to be honest I'm not sure how it's going to work this time, with us all being miniatures ourselves, but I figure at worst it will make certain things inconvenient and at best it could add a whole new dimension to the gameplay! so if that piques your fancy they are located at [insert address here] and it goes from 12-9 today. see you there maybe! (ps. they have soda for 50 cents and there's a pizza place next door, so you don't have to worry about dinner)

Ami Aihara I am more than willing to put up with that! everybody has to start somewhere.

my personal favorite is Elder Sign.
that's one where you work with all the other players to prevent an unfathomable monstrosity called a Great Old One from emerging into our squishy mortal world and driving humanity to madness and ruin!
cooperative games rank high on my list in general, actually.
for instance Pandemic is co-op as well

Tuuri Hotakainen Oooh, but I'd really like to play a co-op game! I think it sounds a lot more fun to work together than... well, what happens whenever I try to play Monopoly with friends. I'll definitely try to stop by!

Tuuri Hotakainen (Maybe it's like a social experiment! If you get a bunch of strangers in the same city on the same buggy social media website, how many of them end up becoming friends in real life? (Except I think a normal experiment would give us a survey at the end, and knowing this app they're probably just going to stalk us for the data instead.))
