Well, it appears that because of commitments here in Recollé, I won't be attending E3 this year. Not in person, at any rate. Don't you just love last minute schedule changes? In non ÉcarlateSoft news, I've been 'graced' with another vision. One disturbing enough I'm only willing to talk offline about it. Friends and family need only apply.

[And, true to her word, she made it a point to be available fairly soon afterwards, seated on the top step of the stairwell leading up to the roof. It was convenient this time, but she didn't want to get too predictable about where they met, not if they were going to attempt to be circumspect.

Today, however, Emilie was upset, and she wanted to see her faster than she wanted it secret.]

[ As soon as she sees her, she rushes over and pulls Chloe into a hug. ]

[The hug was somewhere between expected and surprising. Chloe froze for a second, hands hovering there. And then they started to wrap around, fingers reaching up to brush her hair.]

Easy now. Of course I am. I will always be your friend, no matter what they do to us. And this is what friends are for, Emilie. Take it easy for a moment.

I'm just a bit... rattled.

[ She leans against her friend, silent for a moment, taking comfort in her warmth. ]

Of course you are. I don't even have to ask what it was you saw. I could tell from the start. You didn't sound... well, like you normally would.

[She let her relax there for as long as she needed to. There was no reason to hurry the girl up to tell her what had happened. She'd get to it eventually, and they could address what she'd seen at that point. Until then, she needed comfort more than anything else.]

[ It was... disturbing. She held it in earlier, distracting herself with Nina, but... Well, in any case, she'll be ready to talk soon. ]

Another vision. This one, the other me is a monster, she tried to invade and rampage across a land after gathering up many followers.

In the end, she was defeated. I don't know what happened afterwards.

[She blinked and held her for a moment before pulling back and sighing, reaching up to brush her fingers through Emilie's hair.] And you are no more of a monster than I am a cold-blooded killer and knife thrower. Breathe in and out slowly.

Remember it is not real unless we allow it to be. You aren't her.

I'm not sure is she's a demon... or a vampire.

...vampires are sexier. If you must think in such terms, go with a vampire. [There, with a smarmy grin, her opinion was made known on the matter.] And don't feel bad. You of all people know how much trouble I've had with this, no? But, do you want to talk about it, what you saw?

Nina... When did you get that vision? That's the first I've heard of it...

A month ago. I didn't mention it to you already? I thought I had. Okay, here's the deal.

The first one I got was of me leading a dog army against this wall, and they had exploding fruits. I then ordered the dogs to bring something called the Suffering Shield, and it cuts off there.

The second was of this really weird head-elevator that led from a forest to a lake.

This... other me, a monster of some kind, tried to invade some... land. She gathered followers to her banner and rampaged... until she was defeated.

I don't know what happened to her after that.

Seems like both of us're remembering some pretty serious stuff. Did you see any other weird visions?

[Rampaging... That kinda sounds like fun. All sorts of reasons not to do that, though.]

Not so much. Nothing like this, just the one with the pretty maid.

Stuck here, can't go to E3. I missed university with that... shrinking nonsense and I need to catch up a bit.

Yeah, I stayed in the house the whole time. One of my least favorite weird things that've happened lately. At least chocobos're cute. Even the stupid fruits I got used to.

[She pauses. She can tell her sister's still feeling bothered. Honestly, she's more weirded out than bothered by her own visions, but she might as well do something for her.]

[Nina knows herself. She's pretty sure she can manage that, but she also wants to just relax.]

[It's later in the day, mostly because of lessons and doing her own thing outside of the house due to a project being worked on. Eventually there will be a tiny sister looking about for her eldest sister.]

[ Her big sister has been burying herself in games for a while... but at some point she goes outside. ]

[There isn't an response vocally. Dani was always one to be close and cuddly..and even with her being a pre-teen, that hasn't changed.

So don't be surprised when she drops her backpack and just hugs Emi tightly.]

[ And she's going to hug her little sister right back, letting her hug as much as she likes. She kind of needed it... ]

[She's still worried that she's a fluke but this is going to be pushed aside. Time to be best little sister..not the pranking one.]
