One of the visions I had recently certainly was inspiring, so I have been drawing quite a bit of sketches. I ended up turning this one into a painting though, it's been a little distracting. I was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar, which is why I'm sharing one of them here. It was pretty eye-catching how the letters in the sky kept floating upward.

(( ooc: please ignore the characters at the bottom and the treasure chest, and pretend that the scenery continues underneath them. ))

uhhh I guess it's kind of obvious that shock is going to be a reaction to those letters in the sky, so

your painting is really lovely

and do you know if this happened in Japan or not? In your vision, I mean

I can't say that I have. It's far more surreal than anything I've encountered. What I've seen could easily have been in the world we live in.

I would put it that you are having visions of another world, not Earth.

It was a pretty odd vision. What was yours of? I don’t know, but it felt a bit otherworldly, I think.

I know the smaller ones more than the larger, because I chose those. They are simply excerpts from novels or poems. The bigger are all words but not everything might make complete sense. I think they might be similar to the smaller though.

Since I added them to the picture and they’re in my native tongue, yes.

I believe so, but the city seemed to be pretty old-fashioned. A bit like during the time of westernization a hundred years ago.

If not for the letters this would have been too. At least the city looks like what can be seen in old photos.

Do you think so? Perhaps it is. It did seem a little otherworldly.

It reminds me a little of an old "Chinatown" or the like. I have not seen it, but I could imagine it being an ethnic region of most large cities.

I had a few. One of a dog army being fought off with exploding fruits and another of a head shaped elevator that went from a forest to a lake.

[She's not going to mention the more nasty ones.]

what kinda novels or poems do you like, that you would choose those?

I'm pretty sure it's an older Japan and not Chinatown but I can't be entirely certain. But it's only my opinion, and it's not like I know all cultures.

That does sound pretty odd. And also a bit like what may appear in childrens books, perhaps.

Class? Um, it's a lot of different things but poems and novel excerpts. Otherwise it's random sentences and words, really.

I'm pretty sure children's books don't have as much gore as this did.

Various kinds? For example, works by Issa and Ono no Komachi.

Some of the ones I ended up reading when I was little contained plenty of gore. But I suppose that's not too odd if it involves samurai disemboweling themselves and the sorts. Pardon for asking but does your visions contain a lot of gore?
